I know it's been said for years now but i honestly feel like this site is going to die really soon, more than i have ever felt before.
I mean, Moot doesn't even own the site anymore and ever since he left the site has technically gone to shit. The website has been down a shit ton since he left and there is a lot more technical problems than when moot was here. Plus he sold it to some Japanese dude we barely know that could shutdown or sell the site at any minute.
Honestly, i really feel like this site is gonna die really soon and by die i don't mean the community i mean the site itself. I want to know if anyone else shares the feeling that this site is gonna go soon so i know i`m not alone.

It will end up as a complete clusterfuck and die
It can still be saved, if whole moderation staff is replaced

The mods aren't the real problem. The userbase is the main issue. Smarten up, and you won't get banned by them.

I honestly believe the biggest threat to 4chan is /r9k/ and /pol/.
Several attacks and shootings in recent months have been traced back to those boards. I'm seriously worried the 4chan admin team will come under a lot of heat from the FBI and other such organizations with the inevitable future attacks that get traced back to some edgelord robot or /pol/tard and they will decide to just close the site instead of having to go to court for allowing domestic terrorism foster here.

No. There has been NO increase in site downtime since moot left.
I remember it going down all the fucking time late last year
If this place is going to the shit then we need to make a godslayer raid that will annihilate the shitty sites of internet for good.
We need to take as much as we can and take it to the deepness of hell with us.
I wonder where people would go if 4chan became an hero. 8**an is even worse, has hardly any users despite all the publicity it has gotten and the "exodus" event, and is quite different in nature from 4chan.

No matter how shitty 4chan gets it's probably going to keep going just because of inertia and a lack of better options (even Something Awful is somehow still around). And better options aren't going to present themselves because of how stagnant the web has become and how much things have changed.

maybe it should die, it's gotten so bloated and full of normies. as far as internet culture goes there will always be some kind of board to waste time on, no need to worry about that.

What the fuck are you talking about? 4chan used to freeze for fucking hours at a time on a weekly basis when moot was running things. I haven't seen that happen once since Hiro took over.
