I just noticed we got a new text board. And everything about it is hilarious.
>text board
>it's about news
>sticky says "Blatant trolling and racism is not permitted."
This is by far the funniest things to ever happen on this site. Fucking reddit can't make a news board without bringing up race. How the fuck does he expect to run this board?
/news/ is slow as fuck, who cares

Do you log on once a week? It's a week old now.

>log on
You are the cancer killing 4chan.
I forgot how the old text boards were like, but does anyone feel like news is different?

More like you were never there for them. And they used a different format for posting than the imageboards. /news/ is basically an imageboard, but with pictures cut out. The textboards looked different and had their own thing.
Pic related is what they looked like before. It's a different site, but same code and format.

Don't you surf the information superhighway, Anon? Does your machine do multimedia?
>tfw I just found a searchable archive of the old World4chan

It just sucks that you don't seem to be able to actually read individual threads

Sure sounds like a textboard to me
It's a pretty good board. The fact that you're limited in how many posts you can make means it doesn't move obnoxiously fast, and it also means there's a lot less shitposting because once people waste their few posts, they can't do anything for a while. So people only post when they actually have something to say, which is how all boards should work.

It isn't.

It isn't, kiddo.
