It's the reason why right wingers are so loud.
>>368552
This explains in part the quality differential between slower boards and faster boards.

This tbqh

/lit/ should be higher than /sci/. There are too many popscifags on /sci/ now. We don't deserve the title of smartest board anymore.
>>368609
It must suck to be wrong.
>>368552
Isn't this from an xkcd comic?
>>368625
Looks correct to me.
>>368611
>implying popsci is worse than "muh dfw"
>>368659
>implying DFW has been anything but an ironic meme for years now
>>368609
Does /sci/ actually believe this?
>>368609
>implying /pol/ isnt at the top
hi nigger kike
>>368609
>/sci/
>climate change denial threads, UFO threads, evolution denial threads, "plz help this isnt homework i swear" and flat Earth threads: the board
>>368627
Saturday Morning Breakfast Cereal.
>>368552
I'm always on the hill, but I only ever discuss with people also on the hill.
>>368609
>/sci/
>/lit/
>/his/
>>369507
>a tomato is a fruit
but that's correct, it's a type of berry
>>368747
/sci/ is /pol/ now?
>>369537
Yes, unfortunately. The only good things on /sci/ are the orgo general and the sticky recs.
>>369507
Ah, the comic that is xkcd with colors. Of course.
>>369535
I think the part he's complaining about is "not a vegetable".
>>368609
/mu/ should be up there with /pol/
>>368609
/i/ has more knowledge than /ic/
>>368609
>le /pol/ boogeyman
>>368609
This is actually pretty accurate.
>>368609
Since when is /b/ unwilling to discuss any subject? I take it you have never been in one of those threads arguing over which way a toilet roll should go or how a steak should be cooked, or anything else that they will argue endlessly over
>>369535
Yes, but so are beans, capsicums, pumpkins, peas and many other vegetables that no one tries to argue should be called fruits because they biologically are.
>>370636
but that's just arguing semantics, "vegetable" has no real set definition other than being plant matter
you could viably call a tree a vegetable, but that doesn't mean people will see it as one
>>368715
I haven't browsed /sci/ for years, but when I was there the sheer intelligence of the most intelligent people there was enough to offset the idiocy of others to still make them the smartest board.
I don't know about now, but there used to actually be people there with PhDs and knew math and physics well beyond what you could get in top tier university courses, and if you waited long enough and put up with stupid answers you'd still always get a very intelligent answer sooner or later.
