boards
/aco/: 0, good for western cartoon porn fans, bad for /d/
/his/: +1, a board people wanted
/trash/: +1, pointless for original purpose, but gives clopfags what they wanted with an apt name
/news/: 0, redundant, people still go to /pol/ for this

site changes
return of robot: -1, was already known to be useless and causes /r9k/ to leak
thread moving: +1, better to fix the OP's mistake than to wipe out entire threads
malware ads: -10

moderation
/a/ spoilered lewd: +1, better situation for everyone
wrestling eviction: -1, /asp/ may have been created with wrestling in mind, but flooding it with wrestling isn't good

overall score: -8

The /wwe/ general has gone from a single fast general that used to regularly get over 125 unique ips, more than that on gamethreads and tons more lurkers while keeping itself to itself on /sp/ and bothered no one else, to a completely different shitposting entity that has raped the fuck out of that once slow, informative and peaceful board.

Oh and the general itself has lost 4/5ths of its userbase too. And for what? At the very least 10 or 11 communities have been completely shit on just so he could appease a few footstamping spee newfags that were too autistic to scroll past or hide a single thread

The fucking newfag noodlefag should have lurked more. also these dodgy download sites that come up sometimes when you put 4chan in the address bar is pretty fucked too.

It was self explanatory. It was a name put together that through ateji to spell out a short phrase. Like how people abbreviate expressions and descriptions for things all the time. Do you have legit autism and completely lack a sense of imagination or creativity? Here, I'll spell it out for you:
嘘 is うそ
乃 is の
商 is obviously short for 商人 because it was talking about a person. Lie merchant, that is, someone who sells lies. Couldn't get much less cryptic than that.
>>

Looks like someone can't handle other people's opinions.
>>
>>367383
>/aco/: -2

ftfy. It was handled like shit. They put the contents of three boards in one when people only requested one. It killed /d/'s community not because they left but because they fucking purged it on some stupid "tradition" view of what boards are supposed to be, and forcing /d/-tier /aco/ content with normal rule34 has brought forth the endless "I don't like this fetish" flamewars that plagued /d/.

This was the mod's doing and them doing what they wanted now that moot wasn't there to get pissy about changes. It wasn't Hiro fault, but Hiro should have intervened by now.

>return of robot: -1, was already known to be useless and causes /r9k/ to leak
boards leaking is a myth, the filter was liked by many. moot/the mods removed it on whim.

>wrestling eviction: -1, /asp/ may have been created with wrestling in mind, but flooding it with wrestling isn't good

/asp/ is slow enough as it it, we could argue wrestling should be /tv/ not /asp/ but it still topic related.

I agree, but still little has been done on stormfront shitposting.

/int/, /pol/, /news/ are all giant neo-nazi echo chambers still. There are still far-right wing political threads all over /int/ even though /int/ isn't even a politics board. There's also still shittonnes of stormfaggot "THE JEWISH GLOBAL CONSPIRACY" crap posted all over /his/ as well.
>>
>>372635
Unless we're going to purge everything political, including left-wing bullshit that makes /lgbt/ and occasionally /co/ unusable then I really don't fucking care about any of that.

I mean I don't like it, but history has shown that banning one view across the board like that invites their opponents in wholesale and while that shit is annoying, those posters are easily ignored if your jimmies don't rustle at everything stronger than a stiff breeze.

>>
>>377315
The whole talk of splitting /v/ came up when BEST MOOT FROM JAPAN made new boards and realocated /wwe/ to /asp/ (thus killing /asp/), so everyone thought NEW MOOT FROM JAPAN would give everyone boards.

If /v/ needs any change, is in the name, to "SFW Random".
>>
>>376494
>Nothing on proposals to split /v/

For a good reason, it's one of the more sensitive boards in regards to traffic. It's hard to moderate something that's only second to most used board in this site, and adding more boards can make or break whatever people have planned. /vr/ was a nice example of a good board idea that had consequences. /vg/ is, well, a containment board.
