>/a/ moderation follows the same rules as everyone else!
>>
>>358848
/a/ threw a complete shitfit and got special rules, haven't you heard?
>>
>>358850
No?
>>
>OMFG I saw an ass waaaaaaah mummy
It's not even porn it's directly from the manga, fuck off nipplemod
>>
mods have never had to follow the rules
>>
>>358857
So why aren't the h-game generals on /vg/ allowed to have nipples? If anything, they deserve to have nipples more than /a/ does.
>>
>>358899
because /vg/ isn't for discussion of H games, therefore any threads about H games, while technically allowed, can't have nipples, because that shit belongs on /h/. /a/ "threw a complete shitfit" because mods were banning posters/deleting images with nipples from NON-H MATERIAL, AKA, CONTENT MEANT TO BE DISCUSSED ON /a/
>>
>>358908
NSFW material.

All boards have to ostensibly follow the same roles, whether or not it falls under the purview of the board, if it's NSFW you have to live by the same standards as anyone else. That's how it is on all other boards.

This is just mods being biased towards /a/ and literally everyone knows that.
>>

>This is just mods being biased towards /a/ and literally everyone knows that.
But /qa/ told me /a/ was irrelevant. Have I been lied to?
>>
>>358916
Apparently you're wrong because mods have put loli ass at the top of our catalog all day. Our argument was Non-H stuff belongs on /a/ and mods, hell Hiro himself, agreed.

If you want something allowed on your board try to make a case for it, if you're just salty because /a/ is lucky enough to get what it wants then it sucks to suck doesn't it?
>>
>>358930
>lucky

It has nothing to do with luck, other boards have been pushing for reasonable changes to the moderation policies for years. You get them because of favoritism.

That's fine and I'm happy for you, but admit that it's favoritism.
>>
>>358916
Hiro himself says your wrong. Even if he didn't, NSFW is kinda bullshit on 4chan. I can go on a 20 minute rant about gassing the kikes on a blue board as long as it's somehow on topic; you think that's worksafe? Fuck no, so what's the difference between that and on topic nipples? FUCKING NOTHING YOU PAVEMENT APE. All of the red boards are explicitly for porn, or are things like /b/ or /pol/ that are blantantly for one dimensional racist shitposting. It's possible for there to be nipples that aren't necessarily porn, and those should be allowed on /a/

Get mad weeb, it makes me hard. You're clearly too stupid to read the OP or you'd realized you missed the entire point of this thread.

NSFW on 4chan IS bullshit and the rest of us have to put up with the mods' bullshit excuses like "w-well it could people fired" as though browsing 4chan at work is a good idea.

So instead of getting asshurt why don't you admit that there's a double standard and help us get nipplemods off the staff altogether?
>>
>>358939
Nipples are only allowed on /a/ when put in a spoilered image as well

I go on /a/ regularly and I'm not the one you're arguing with, but you're comparing text with images. That is a pretty big jump.
I could tell someone to go fuck their dog and shit in his own mouth but I wouldn't actually want pictures of him fucking his dog and shitting in his mouth, you know?
That being said, nipplemod was fantastically dumb and also should have never made that open sticky (seriously, what the hell was he thinking with that?).

I'm pretty certain Hiro said at some point that he doesn't have any interest in anime.

/a/ was clearly the subject of favoritism by moot, but with Hiro it's just a matter of him being a cool dude all around
>>
>>358957
>implying hiro has shit to do with the entrenched moderation

>>358957
No he never said that he's actually briefly talked about a couple series (Claymore if I remember correctly) on /a/ and said his favorite anime during the initial q&a.
>>
>>358916
>, if it's NSFW you have to live by the same standards as anyone else. That's how it is on all other boards.
Isn't it more that the other boards are incapable of behaving themselves? Imagine this, you allow the posting of nipples from non-h games that exist on /v/. But guess fucking what, within two weeks, the entire board is full blown h-games because of retarded mental gymnastics

/a/ gets favouritism for this sort of shit, because atleast they behave themselves
>>
>>358961
I also recall him recommending Shirobako to a random anon, which was a 2014 anime that extended into 2015.

"Nipplemod" was clarifying a rule that Kinomod declined to enforce.

/a/ got the rules changed because they whined a lot and the staff treats /a/ with kid gloves.
>>
>>359063
The rule was never clarified or enforced, because its retarded in the first place. The retard was trying to make the board a true sfw board, when the NSFW rule only exist to prevent porn dumps.

Enforcing the rule would of been stupid because you'd restrict what can actually been discussed, more so since a lot of old anime have nipples flopping about a lot.

>b-but you could just not post images/gif/webm of that content
Those images are apart of the series and are a legitimate part of discussion

You shouldn't have to go to /e/, which is a board dedicated to image dumping not discussion, to discuss a anime/manga that's allowed to be posted on /a/, because someone doesn't like nipples. No one browses 4chan at work and no one is getting promotions any time soon
>>
>>359071
>when the NSFW rule only exist to prevent porn dumps.
The NSFW rule existed to remove things that are NSFW, like breasts.

>Enforcing the rule would of been stupid because you'd restrict what can actually been discussed
This is patent nonsense. /jp/ has been calmly discussing hardcore pornography for as long as it has been around and nobody there ever threw a flaming shitfit when somebody knocked out a screencap or two.
>>
>>359073
>The NSFW rule existed to remove things that are NSFW, like breasts.
No, they exist to prevent shit like porn dumps. 4chan isn't a sfw website, no one gives a shit if you post a set of tits. Only you and the retarded mod does

> /jp/ has been calmly discussing hardcore pornography for as long as it has been around and nobody there ever threw a flaming shitfit when somebody knocked out a screencap or two.
Who gives a fuck about how /jp/ does things. It doesn't change the fact that, for things like To Love-Ru and VD, which are things allowed to be posted on /a/, the ecchi content is a core part of the series and is a valid discussion point. There's nothing wrong with posting content from the series in a thread made to discuss it

If a pair of tits upsets you that much, maybe 4chan just isn't for you
>>
>>359075
>No, they exist to prevent shit like porn dumps. 4chan isn't a sfw website, no one gives a shit if you post a set of tits.
A lot of people don't want to see they're waifu getting fucked silly (raped, plastered in cum, etc) in every thread about her. Hotglue has been banned on /a/ for ages.

I have guro in my Pixiv favorites, I'm not ~~~upset~~~ by tits and gore, but I do think the children in /a/ are a bunch of entitled retards. The 4chan developer went out of his way to add picture spoiling for the crying children.

>Who gives a fuck about how /jp/ does things.
It proved that you're both retarded and a liar when you said that it would "prevent series from being discussed on /a/."
>>
Friendly reminder that while all of you passionately discuss this topic, nothing about is going to change.
>>
>>359073
>/jp/
Different mediums, /a/ had entire manganchapters deleted because some puritan mod didn't like that a single page has nudity, that's why the rule was later clarified so that a small amount of nudity was allowed as long as it wasn't exclusicely porn and it was relevant to the discussion.

If you post hardcore or try to make an ecchi image dump on /a/ you still get banned

Congrats on not knowing the rules. It was stated the nudity fanart isn't allowed, it needs to be official

> but I do think the children in /a/ are a bunch of entitled retards
4chan is NSFW website, and you need to be over 18 to use it. If wanting to discuss a series and post the content of a series, that is 100% allowed on /a/ makes me a entitled whiny shithead child, then so be it. Atleast I'm not being a whiny shithead faggot kid, who's upset that people are trying to actually discuss things instead of shitposting
>>
>>359089
You're the retard spouting off about all these that don't exist because none of what you posted is allowed.

>Congrats on not knowing the rules. It was stated the nudity fanart isn't allowed, it needs to be official
I was talking to a fuckwit who claimed that the only reason /a/ is SFW is so it doesn't become a porn dump board. Follow the context, retard.

>If wanting to discuss a series and post the content of a series, that is 100% allowed on /a/
It is now that /a/ shitposted so hard they got the rules to change just for them.

>Atleast I'm not being a whiny shithead faggot kid, who's upset that people are trying to actually discuss things instead of shitposting
Yeah we're having one goddamn edifying discussion right now, I feel smarter already.
>>
>>359095
>It is now that /a/ shitposted so hard they got the rules to change just for them.
Too bad for you, they never shitposted for the rule, as it was mod approved more than a few times

>>
The reason why there is a NSFW/SFW distinction is to separate boards where people post porn from boards where people discuss stuff. SFW doesn't literally mean "safe for work". What kind of job do you do in the first place that allows you to look at, say, "SFW" keion images?

An ass or tits every now and then is harmless. It's only a problem when threads become nothing but porn dumbs, that's why the no NSFW content rules exist.

That doesn't say much. Refer to an actual ban/warning, with a similar picture to the one in that OP.

The one who claims something should be the one to provide proof of their claim.
Not guilty until otherwise proven.
That OP image is not a problem unless you (YOU) can prove that it is, by showcasing hard proof of similar images being banned elsewhere.
Attacking the legitimacy of the defendant while not providing proof for your own claims makes you look like an idiot.

Not that guy, but here you go.
http://desustorage.org/co/thread/77696570/#77701001

Didn't think it was egregious enough to cap, so you'll have to take my word for it that I got a warning. In any case, /co/ regularly autosages or deletes cheesecake threads for global rule 3 even when there is no explicit nudity. I have a hunch they rely on autosages, warnings, and three-day bans so their decisions aren't reviewed or challenge-able, but I can't say for sure.

You might say this vigilance is only for fan art, but the /co/ mods or janitors are so paranoid I've seen them delete official artwork from an upcoming children's cartoon because it showed a topless baby with a full diaper. They clearly are not operating with the same rulebook across the boards.
