I used to browse /b/ in 2011 and it always had a large porn amount. I go there occasionally and I think it's pretty much the same. There's good thread sometimes but the speed makes it complete chance to catch them. I got really lucky one time with the return of EFG. Ah, /b/....
I still love /b/. I've been here a long time and I can say that /b/ is where you will find the most honesty and diversity of opinion, there is a wide-ranging age of the users, "the happening" is almost always extensively covered on /b/, you can find some very surprisingly educated comments there. I still believe it is the cultural beating heart of the site.
Of course I got into /b/ after I was a teenager. So I don't need to write-off my /b/ years as an embarrassing teenage fad like so many others here seem to.
