If it's only for a couple days I generally wait it out and play vidya or marathon an anime during that time. However, I generally post from my phone if I'm going to break a rule (which 95% of the time is posting porn).
It really depends on the ban. If it's a 3 day ban in a single board for something I really did, I wait it out.
If it's some bullshit like last time saying I was a proxy (and no, I don't have malware, I'm on Linux) and banning me for over a month on all boards I'm not really left with much choice. I can only assume it was something I said a mod didn't like but also didn't have a proper excuse for banning.

How do you people still have dynamic IPs in this day and age?
All over the world, ISPs are making it so that when you make a DHCP request you always get the same IP address, no matter how manytimes you reset your router/modem. They say they are doing this for piracy reasons.
I think if your ISP hasn't done this yet then they will be very soon.
