The randomness and cuteness. Not everything has to be about plot.
And "moeshit" is not a genre.
It's funny, it's light, it spreads happiness and it is generally comfy. If you want to watch mature anime for mature individuals like yourself, I've heard great things about the intellectual artistry of Boku no Pico.
