Why can't other boards be as great as /a/?

>Threads have their topic clearly stated in the subject line
>Off-topic threads are reported and deleted
>Nobody goes into threads for shows they don't like just for the sake of starting shit
>A thread for literally every currently airing show you could imagine
>People who are always willing to discuss older shows if they are brought up
>Never a million threads on the same topic
>A focus on the individual works themselves, or topics directly relevant to anime and manga
>People actually use sage properly
>Unwritten rule against recommendation threads to keep the standard of content high

Go look at /a/'s catalog and compare it to any other board. The difference is like night and day. It's like the difference between a person who keeps a tidy home and a person who lives in filth.

Why don't other board communities have as much respect for their content?
>>
I agree with all these points but you are clearly falseflagging, a main /a/ stable is not bringing attention to /a/ if it isn't necessary, new people are the source if all evil.
>>
>>340964
>>Off-topic threads are reported and deleted
>le "I will post this every day until Christmas" girl
>>
>>340964
>Never a million threads on the same topic
If you think /a/ is shit just say so, no need for stealth false-flagging.
>>
>>340968
>>340977
>implying falseflagging
>>
Hi /a/, let me refresh your memory.

/vg/ will surpass you post-wise soon. This will only continue, as your post rate is decreasing day by day. You are irrelevant and you haven't been relevant since like 2008.

Now that moot is gone, we have an admin that listens to every user. You're not special anymore.

People like you reported and shat on western content on /d/, now we have /aco/. /d/ right now is dead.
You hated ponies, now there's 2 boards were people can post ponies. You hate furries, now hiro is actually thinking of adding a /fur/ board.
You hated /his/ because you thought it wouldn''t ever meet '/a/ standards', now /his/ is a really fast and decent board.

You're one of us now, a simple user, free of any special privileges.
>>
>>340964
>Unwritten rule against recommendation threads to keep the standard of content high
moot made it a written rule
>Nobody goes into threads for shows they don't like just for the sake of starting shit
/v/ermin do
>>
>>341003
/a/ hates ponies? I always thought of MLP as being in roughly the same category as moe anime.
>>
>>341011
They love to pick on them because they can spam their moe images and brony fucks can't
>>
>>341011
>I always thought of MLP as being in roughly the same category as moe anime.
It's not, moe anime is vastly superior and has no flaws.
>>
>>341003
>/vg/
>not cancer
My fucking sides.
>>
>>341022
You need to learn that 4chan isn't a 100% perfect place. In order to be relevant, you need to be big.

What the hell, since when is furry hate a weeb thing?
Are you a furry? Only people who don't hate furries are furries.
Hell, when people decide to kill off furry threads by spamming shit in them, they don't spam weeb shit, they spam 40k shit. And no matter how moe Marneus Calgar is, space marines are not anime.
>>
>>340964
Sounds literally like reddit
>>
>>341049
Sounds literally nothing like Reddit
>>
>>340964
Why are /a/utists so condescneding? You are not as good as smaller boards or /sci/, /vr/, /lit/, /tg/ and /m/
>>
>>341057
The size difference makes /a/'s quality impressive.
>>
>>341063
The only reason /a/ seems better than /tv/ and /v/ is because it has 3 times as many mods

Also I'm pretty sure it's the only band that still publicly band people, I don't remember the last time I saw public ban on other board.
>>
>>341065
/a/ isn't a shitty meme factory like /tv/ and /v/ are.
>>
>>341074
who is this semen demon

This >>341078
plus all those 'no bully' posts
>>
>>341078
I remember the time when posting that would mean instant ban.
>>
>>341065
Then explain why http://www.4chan.org/bans is mostly /tv/ & /v/ and rarely /a/
>>
Bullshit, most of time mods don't do a shit.
For example why is this shit thread allowed?
>>>/a/133438724
Thread started with this shitposting image devolved into spam of guro of main character and "sleep tight hammers"
>>

the image or the words?

there's more /sp/ than /tv/

>>
>>341086
Guro is a recurring thing there /newfag/.
>>
>>341089
>>341092
Sorry for being retarded
I was confused because he said 'that' instead of 'those'
>>
>Why can't other boards be as great as /a/?
/a/ is a parody of itself these days. Everything that this board does now is a poor imitation of
all the things old /a/ used to do. There is no joy to be fun here, no originality in each post and
nothing for you to laugh at as the people that inhabit it are doing nothing but copying the things
considered acceptable in this board. Every post feels like it is automated by a scipt, repeating
the same inane shit every day until you like it.
>>
>>341090
Explain why there are so many /v/ bans if /a/ has 3x as many mods
>>
>>341112
The bans on ban wall are random
>>
>>341115
But it ALWAYS shows many more /v/ bans than /a/ bans which wouldn't be the case if /a/ had the same mod:ban ratio as /v/.
>>
>>340964
Anon the majority of the points you made are general thread cesspoll bullshit. Having threads that are nothing more than singular topics are bad and you're retarded
>>
Because the mods only cares for /a/ and lurks on it.
For other boards you have to call them with reports
>>
>>340974
And SakuraFish, and "Koume, it's eight of clock", and "skip the first episode". And people who hate Naruto false-flagging by making shitty threads. And that one dipshit spamming his "Keit-Ai" meme.
>>
>>341003
>/vg/ not fast because /a/ rejects general go there
>>
>>341117
>>341112
Because there are vastly more /v/ posters than their are /a/ ones.
>>
>>341057
/vr/ sucks now.
>>
>>341251
>majority
And they don't really function like cancerous generals like those on /vg/ or /int/, where people quote things from previous threads like idiots. They're rarely if ever 'chatrooms'
>>
>>340964
>Nobody goes into threads for shows they don't like just for the sake of starting shit
You haven't been in the Umaru threads have you?
>>
>>341057
/lit/ is fucking awful. It's just an enormous circlejerk about high school reading lists.

If /a/ were like /lit/ it would be nothing but people discussing "the essentials" and never actually watching current series. Imagine /a/ with like a fraction of its population doing nothing but talking about Samurai Champloo and Evangelion, and that's about what /lit/ is like.
>>
>>342026
Instead /a/ talks about the anime equivalent to Operah's reading list

>>340964
Because 4chan is an anime site so the emphasis is on anime.

Those who hate anime would naturally shit up the site.
>>
>>342092
I hope you're not implying that no good books have ever been in Oprah's Book Club. But I believe it if you actually are from /lit/ since they don't actually read contemporary literature.
>>
>>342095
>Upotte!! threads on /k/

I miss that show.

Sabagebu was also good.
>>
>>340964
It doesn't really matter what board is better. Reddit is superior in every way.
>>
>>342095
>founded with two boards

/a/ was created two and a half months after /b/ and is the 9th board to be created.

Stop bullshitting, you fucking newfag.

Beyond that, 4chan is rooted on Japanese culture, not anime per se. Japanese emojis and jokes are more welcome than weebshit.
>>
>>342106
Almost all the intermediate boards are just anime image and porn dumps.
>>
>>341057
/tg/ has gone to shit since the questfags and generals have taken over, not to mention nearly eternal screencap and filename threads.
>>
>>343323
Reminder that Questfags are all /a/utists
>>
Hiro, please never split /a/. I beg of you. Please do not do it.
>>
>>343901
From what I could tell from metathreads, all the /a/fags who went over for FuckQuest didn't even finish the quest. So no, it's all your own cancer.
