This is wrong, though. It's a myth based on this screenshot, but look at the dates. I'm not sure what really happened, but clearly it involved deleting all the posts on the board and resetting the post counter to zero, hence "oops".

Hey, I was one of the guys that worked for project hate machine.
It really wasn't a "majority" or the users, it was a few fags with nothing better to do and the guy that was leading the project was a know-nothing-about-chan-history, no-skills-involved, literal jew that wanted to profit off of the project.
