Adding a bunch of dumb novel boards is dumb. Keep shit simple, don't have too many boards. At most, just clarify where certain things belong, and increase the amount of threads there can be at one time. Containment boards are just as bad. You don't need to make everyone feel welcome, and we don't need a place for every single thing, just some places for some general ones, with /b/ or threads on any board that happen to start discussing something else along with the relevant topic (like math threads on /a/) for anything else. These are unnecessary splits similar to places like reddit, when not only does this place have a different format, but there are already things like generals in the boards that there are. We've already had enough splits with boards like /vp/ and /mlp/ getting entire containment boards instead of threads. I think it's gimmicky pandering, and that more effort should be put toward a balance between strict and not so strict moderation, instead of these easier changes. I think /his/ is fine, seeing that we've already had /sci/ for a while, and it's a pretty broad topic with a lot to talk about. But what do I know right? Your fags thoughts?
