I like to make a proposal for the creation of Star Wars General Threads.
Now don't get me wrong, I like SW as much as the next guy and will be seeing the movie along with everybody else but there are currently _24_ Star Wars threads on /tv/ and this veritable tidal wave of duplicate and unnecessary SW threads is driving out all other conversation on the board.
I think we can all agree it's long past time to implement this policy.
Sure, let's have it right here.
I'll get us started. Thrawn sucks and is a Mary Sue.

It's called /co/.
/tv/ posters don't deserve a genera.
Generals won't solve it.
Most of the threads are solely for shitposting or race baiting, not discussing anything.
The turds from /v/, /pol/ and /sp/ will still make new threads about Sheev or Jar Jar or whatever thing they want to want to make an epic new meme.
Please give this trash franchise a quarantine board instead
Even my little pony wasn't this bad when it was on /tv/

Support a sci fi board anon.
By actually having a mod on /tv/ for once. I don't think people understand just how abandoned this board is. Nobody, seriously, nobody gives a shit about /tv/. Multiple people have tried emailing moot, he doesn't give a shit. Mods, from other boards, flat out ignore any pleas for help. Child porn slides to page 15 untouched by moderation. Nobody. Cares. This board is anarchy. As much as people complain about how terrible it is, it's being held together by nothing more than the community. So when you look at a golden board like /co/, remember, they're being propped up, /tv/ is standing alone.

Threads get deleted instantly if they're about actresses or porn or cunny spam. The mods are there, but they are extremely selective in what they think should be should be deleted or what they think should be allowed (20+ Star Wars threads, obvious /v/ and /pol/ bait threads, threads just to make epic new memes)

That's 'board culture'.

>porn
BLACKED threads often stay for at least half an hour.

/co/ gettign shat on by moderation is a longstanding tradition, the only boards that get special moderation attention are, to my understanding /s4s/, /u/ and /a/

No, they get deleted. Takes a couple of minutes but they barely get more than 20 replies.

Fuck /tv/ moderation. This was a perfectly legitimate thread.
