The Q&A's been over for over a month now and this board still isn't comfy again.

Too many people treat this as a lobbying sort of board, mostly because 4chan.org/feedback is as useful as a sack of rotten carcasses.
Hiro responding to posts here (while I appreciate his interactivity with users a lot) hasn't helped matters much, either.
Issues get brought up, and opposing camps come to duke it out. /qa/ just needs to take it easy, but so far the results are looking pretty grim.
>>
>>331315
Probably just gonna filter every thread with "Hiro" in it.
>>
>>331303
They'd have to shut the board down for a few weeks for it to be fixed, and even then it'd be temporary.

The comfy days are gone.
>>
Your problem is that you aren't creating comfy threads. There's no rule for what this board HAS to be used for. It's just that people are using it for "The site should do this" threads.

Just create a thread about the discussion you want to have. Literally anything.

What was /qa/ like before Hiroshimoot, senpai?
>>
>>331795
It was was 40% drawfags, orange juice and melk-smen, 30% chill threads, 20% paying respects to moot, 5% shitposting and 5% /q/.
Nowadays it's 80% /q/ and 20% shitposting.
>>
>>331795
If you hide every /q/-tier thread (requesting board additions/removals, complaining about mods/Hiro, etc) you're basically left with pre-Hiro /qa/. A pretty cozy group of a couple dozen posters max, some discussion of 4chan culture ("What's your opinion on filtering?" "What's happening on your homeboard?" etc).

Obligatory Punky Brewster mention.

A bit hugboxy, sometimes offtopic, it was a time when people didn't know what to do with the board, the idea of a metaboard was there and there was a insane amount of cooperation coming from the community, people knew what made their main boards shit and they tried to not bring those things to /qa/, they wanted it to be a neutral zone where they could just chill, relax and forget their problems, it was also the perfect chance for crossposters to interact with people from boards they never visit, for once you could talk about 4chan as a whole without biased opinions or board culture getting in the way, since people from all over the website were there, the Hiro era didn't killed the board, but it did changed things a lot around here, however it isn't a lost cause, people just need to try making more threads that aren't just /q/posting

The biggest mistake people make here is not the /q/posting, but not realizing how much you can do with a metaboard with people from all over 4chan, also someone needs to tell Hiro to not use this board as his feedback board, its not his fault but this kinda of shit is what killed /q/ in the first place, /qa/ should just be a board where the community can stay alone bitching about whatever they want because they are interested in the subject, not because they know posting here is going to change anything

People still think this is /q/
At least the nice posters ran away.

>The biggest mistake people make here is not the /q/posting, but not realizing how much you can do with a metaboard with people from all over 4chan
It's such a shame people don't realize this now. There's only a couple threads here I see that really adhere to this, stuff like the interesting images thread or the 4chan happenings threads.
Everyone just needs to chill and take it easy.
>>
>>331828
Thankfully, /s4s/' brand of shitposters are pretty easily bored and will stop if they don't feel they're getting enough attention. Since this is a slow board, they don't get much attention. QED.
>>
>>331851
Problem is, this is 4chan, so instead of a bunch of people from different boards being calm and reasonable, you have a bunch of retards screaming at each other because some like anime and some don't.
>>
>>331809
Still not seeing you create comfy threads. All you've contributed to the board is this thread whining about the bad threads.

Fix the problem yourself.
>>
>>331869
You made your point the first time.
>>
>>331878
And I'm still waiting for you to make yours.

>>331887
Oh, then here it is:

"Okay."
>>
>>331888
You are fucking stupid.
>>
>>331631
This is a good idea. It's either people sucking his dick or people bitching about irrelevant shit.
>>
>>331866
>implying shitposters wait all day for (You)s
The experience of shitposting is its own reward.

Someday /qa/ will return to post moot pre Hiro days, we just have to wait it out.
