A couple of years ago "/fit/ - Health and Fitness" got renamed to "/fit/ - Fitness" because, well, it was indeed a board about fitness more than health. Some people would still come to /fit/ seeking medical advice only to get a bunch of replies from medically illiterate /fit/izens telling them to go to doctor.
The problem is, though, there's still no place on 4chan for health-related stuff and medical problems. Why not create a board for this? It's been a long due.

Russian 2ch had a medical board for ages with no legal issues.
