Should probably clarify that in practical terms, unless all of the mods agreed to split 4chan into two sites, western and eastern, 4chan going back to the old imageboard culture is not going to happen. So the only other productive alternative is to stick with what you enjoy and try not to let other minor details get in the way of that. I still enjoy using /a/ despite all these years and the declining quality, and I'm pretty sure others feel the same about the boards they browse (again, despite the decline in quality).
