I don't know what that stupid Jewish so-called "principle" is, but I can say with authority that Donald Trump is a better choice than Hillary Clinton.

Hillary Clinton has shown herself to be a legitimate traitor, selling American uranium and other assets and influence for Clinton Foundation donations, as well as too incompetent to do her job, or even use a classified system in the manner it is supposed to be used.

Donald Trump is how we are going to Make America Great Again. Furthermore, I honestly believe Hillary Clinton will be charged with perjury for lying to congress about her emails, and therefore become ineligible to become president.

"Using the principle of the Dunning-Kruger effect"

"Using the principle of the photoelectric effect"

Both are entirely non-applicable to what it's trying to say. Ironically whoever created and supports that meme is exhibiting the Dunning-Kruger effect, they think they're much smarter than they actually are.

Trump's supporters don't claim to support him based on superiority, but because they like his character/policy.

That meme is some next level stupidity.

It's a meme. It's a gigantic oversimplification of what's been happening that has allowed Trump to get the nomination. It has nothing to do about Hillary or the other candidates at this point.

I agree that Trump voters are "going for a candidate that reflects their belief," but the problem is that the support began at the left (of the bell curve), is being perpetuated and fueled via mass media and social media for various reasons. All candidates have their own baggage, but in any other election up until now (at least in the U.S.), a candidate that says, does, thinks and writes what Trump has, would never have made it half-way through the primaries.

>>
>>81598296

You and most of the "political experts" out there still seem to be unaware that your society can be angry at the current state of affairs, and would vote on a candidate with more conservative/extreme views, by their own volition.

Not everyone likes diversity and all that, but they could go for most of their lives without thinking too much about this. Add in some #BlackLivesMatter, some ISIS threats, terrorist attacks internationally and nationally, and you now have a person who is willing to vote for Trump.

What you seem to be crying about is that politicians use social media to promote themselves. If this was a couple years ago would you complain they use TV to promote themselves? Radio? Cars with loud speakers?
>>

>>
>>81598296
Once again you pretend to be smarter than you actually are.

You miss a singularly important factor that led Trump to be where he is, and that is decades in the media spotlight. That is his years on the apprentice.

He's treated this whole campaign like a reality TV show, because it essentially is. His already large fanbase as well as experience in making entertaining television is probably the most important reason why he's gotten so far.

But you can't even recognize that on your own.

I'm not crying, I'm just making an observation. You can't even say anything half-in-jest on 4chan and not be demonized by anonymous users, but Trump is fully able to do or say anything he wants, and has been for months. There are people being fired for saying similar things, people being ostracized, people being slandered, but he just keeps getting away with it.

Not saying I care or am offended by him, I just find it extremely profound that he's still around. I sorta wanna be like him when I grow up, sorta.

>There are people being fired for saying similar things, people being ostracized, people being slandered, but he just keeps getting away with it.

This all applies to Hillary as well. She lies about being under sniper fire, gets away with it. Brian Williams mixes up a few details and nearly loses his job.

She does a bunch of shit that other people would be indicted or at least punished for, she gets off scott free.

Seems Hillary gets away with more.
>>

Obama had the media shilling for him and making him look better than he actually is.

Trump has the media shilling against him and trying to make him look bad, and Trump still beats them.

>>
>>81599388

He is skilled in playing with people's anger. The fact you see this is already a point against Dunning Kruger.

The other candidates are only still there because of the Establishment. There is literally no reason for Hillary not to be under judgement and out of the race right now besides being the establishment choice, and "omg guyse can you imagine having a female president XDDD".
>>
>>81599933
But the difference is, Hillary is a career politician, acting no different than she (and most other politicians) have for years. Trump basically has no qualifications or previous knowledge of anything having to do with running any country, other than experience in business. Which can't be discounted as useless, but should not be given more importance than it deserves.

Wow, that's a pretty big claim (for you), I would be very interested to hear who is behind this and what they believe will be the benefits. It seems to me that most of the political establishment would rather Trump never got close to the whitehouse.
>achieved largely via social media
yes social media has become very important in modern society but you're still really overestimating the power over popular culture and modern life it actually has. Also most people who actively and regularly use social media are anti-Trump, yes a lot of them may actually support Trump as the silent majority is very much on his side but the consensus one would see at a glance at any mainstream social media platform would be that Trump is a terrible person and should not become president.
>using the principle of the Dunning-Kruger effect
I'm just going to assume you got the wrong effect here, because if you did mean this one you're effectively saying that people who vote for Trump are doing so because they think of themselves as better at what they do than they actually are, and that this attitude they hold was created by to much time on twitter. If you said that most Trump voters suffered from this effect I could accept it as a cheeky jab saying Trump voters are unintelligent, but to say that this is why they vote the way they do is ironically an example of the Dunning-Kruger Effect. You're think you're much more intelligent than you are, but your incorrect use of language you think makes you sound clever only shows how stupid you really are.

I don't pretend to be amazingly clever, but you have to look at the statistics behind each of the points that trump is making.

Do you disagree with the fact that the outsourcing of manufacturing has resulted in massive unemployment in the rust belt and midwest?

Do you disagree with the fact that illegal immigration and an unsecured border has allowed criminals and drugs to get into the USA?

Do you disagree with the assertion that the USA needs to get rid of trade deals that negatively impact their business and worker base?

Do you disagree with the fact that black people commit a disproportional amount of crime compared to their true numbers?
>>
>>81602592
I agree with your sentiment but do not say politics is easy. Politics is a literal arena of people competing to be the most powerful person in the world, in America. Trump is suited for the task BECAUSE it is so difficult, only he can do it.

>>
>>81595336
Actually, it's due to the Actor–observer asymmetry phenomena and acute Anosognosia in college educated liberals.

College education these days provides a self-serving bias where people who paid to get taught the right opinions for 4 years believe themselves to be superior to those who didn't waste a small fortune on an underwater basket weaving degree and learned a proper trade or entered the workforce immediately because real work experience is worth 2:1 what education is.
>>
>>81597642
Dunning-Kruger effect is the inability for people to understand their ignorance and how it affects their support and interpretation of choices. This dynamic is what let those ignorant feel more confident in their understanding of things than those with expert domain knowledge. Trump is not a politico, he made a lot of small mistakes in his understanding of american government (more than what any sophomore political science student would make).

I would not encourage anyone to use it, unless they fully understand what it means completely. Only if they knew what was driving the social engineering, why, and how it was being done and how it relates to the Dunning-Kruger Effect and how what was driving it is using the effect and the end goal.

There's enough other memes that libtards can use.

Guys, I see my liberal "friends" on Facebook shit on Trump on a daily basis, but whenever I asked what was fascist about him, their answers were pitiful and embarrassing. They literally couldn't do more than quote some article they had read. When I insisted and argued a little, neutrally, they just embarrassed themselves to death; I had to stop, I was feeling bad for them.

Still, what do people reproach Trump with really? I mean on the level of ideas and program and all. What do they dislike about him?

If anyone here is against Trump and are willing to explain, I'll listen to you seriously.

People in america do not consume media like people outside of America. They are deeply trapped into their respective ideological echo chambers and news bubbles. the nuts and bolts of governance is something beyond comprehension of the regular folk. This is because governance is more complex than ever and also because of the media landscape. So they consume opinion pieces from 'thought-leaders' who do the thinking/opinion-forming for their consumption. this is why the average voter cannot comment or form opinions that aren't a mere repetition of what was stated in the media.

The capacity of critical thinking has devolved to the capacity of taking a position relative to some narrative as fed to them via their respective media outlets. It's affective politics at its worse. Feels instead of reals

I understand a lot more about politics than a lot of people. A lot more people understand a lot more than me, a lot more. You're missing the point. Try to look at the meme and the current status of the campaign without prejudice, anger, hate or any type of subjective lens.

Who is benefiting from Trump's status right now and over the past few months? Who will continue to benefit? Whether or not he wins or loses is irrelevant. Whether his views are right or wrong is irrelevant.

/b/ is a failed board. They used to be the home and breeding ground for the old "anonymous" , final boss of the internet.

The "Dunning Kruger Effect" is an effect were individuals miscalculate their own ability level to complete a task due to ignorance of the abilities required to complete said task. It has nothing to do with judging another person's ability level.

Why is /b/ such a shit hole? Why did they "fail" as a board? I mean, it really should just be removed from 4chan as a board at all.

Maybe it was the fall of lulzsec that caused their infinite spiral into what is now /b/ and "AnonOps" ?

AnonOps are SJWs pretending to be hackers, I don't think anyone with any ability to penetrate systems would be caught within 100 miles of their shity little social justice events.

Maybe /b/ and "anonymous" could of lasted longer if they didn't fall for the centralization meme.

However, let's face it, it was alwayse just a matter of time.

It was just a matter of time before some psycho little 12yr old Anon started doxing girls who showed tits, guaranteeing tits would basically never be shown again.

Once the tits were gone, once there was no board mascot for /b/, I think most of the quality users just up and left.

It's impossible to keep a board Anonymous and keep out the psychos at the same time.

That said, I'd love to actually debate you outside of image maymays.

>Dunning Kruger effect has absolutely nothing to do with Trump's campaign strategies
Did anyone say it was his strategy? His strategy is pretty straightforward.
>>
Trying to understand what the maymay is trying to say, and I don't get it.

>if you know that some people overestimate their skills and fail because of it, you will not vote for Trump, and if you say you will, you are lying

Let it be as it is. Just refuse to make wet sand from them and leave them playing in their "modern sandbox". We do not understand it because we are dumb. To savages even Islam seems very modern. We are worse than that, animals as we are.

They need enemy and it pisses them off the most when enemy is just gone. Unavailable.

Grant us new happening mighty Kek

>effort using dunning-kruger effect
translation:
>Trump is getting people to vote for him by appealing to stupid people who think they're smart

nothing in his campaign tries to capitalize on this psychological effect
unless you're saying that trump is stupid and think he's smart
if that's the case than this meme is poorly worded and still wrong
>>
>>81619374
Your shitty meme does. That people are being manipulated to vote for Trump (assumably with his knowledge) via social engineering and application of "the principles of the Dunning-Kruger effect" (whatever the fuck that's trying to say).
>>
>>81618857
>the truly wise knows that he knows nothing.

Nah man, that line is just wannabe intellectual bullshit from people who want to appear more educated than they are

Not knowing everything =/= knowing nothing
>>
But I understand it and support Trump.
The only reason ANY politician wins is because of advertising or a rigged political system.
The advertising for Trump is just more word of mouth based.
>>
>You're dumb if you vote for Trump
Okay why am I dumb?
>HAHAHA LOOK AT THIS IDIOT ONLY SOMEONE DUMB WOULD VOTE FOR TRUMP

What are you sliding shill?
>>
>>81595336
Sure buddy.
The democrats put up Hillary.
The republicans could put up a retarded, albino, African, midget transsexual, and I'd vote for it over Clinton.
This has nothing to do with my self perception, just the fact Hillary wouldn't pass the background check to be a cashier at McDonald's.

>Trump is getting people to vote for him by appealing to stupid people who think they're smart

Stupid people who think they're smart? Isn't that any stupid person? Isn't that precisely why they're stupid to begin with?

It remains retarded. People who are certifiably intelligent, with degrees, and vote for Trump, what of them? Maymay is broken.
>>
>>81618783
oh yeah, it's like the Baader-Meinhof phenomenon, amirite?
>>
>>81619608
What is says is "I'm really smart. Trump is dumb and anyone who supports him is dumb too. On top of being smart I am also extremely pretentious so I'm going to verbally extrude those two simple sentences into as many as I can, while dropping as many $5 words as I can think of, as flowery language and long length impress me. Like and share if you would like a feeling of unwarranted superiority as well".

The point is that the more you learn, the more knowledge you realize you don't know - the "known unknowns" increase exponentially.

>That people are being manipulated to vote for Trump

Typical Brit: if you vote for someone I don't like, you're being manipulated, otherwise you're an educated and intelligent person who shares my opinion, of course.

I'd vote for Trump because he knows how to make things work, he has sufficient ego to do things, and he isn't scared of what people will think of him, which is the best skill to have for a white man nowadays.

I have no doubt he is intelligent. I also like his political ideas and nobody has ever shown me why his ideas weren't good.

Typical Swiss: Not reading my posts or the context in which it was made properly.
>>
>>81620855
The part of the statement that annoyed me was the "knows that he knows NOTHING", because it's bullshit.
Being aware of the limitations of your own knowledge doesn't mean that knowledge you do have becomes worthless.
>>
>>81619608
>>if you know that some people overestimate their skills and fail because of it, you will not vote for Trump, and if you say you will, you are lying
No, you don't understand.

Try replacing Trump with Putin. Pretend Putin is running for President of the US. Pretend he has the support that Trump is getting while saying all sorts of similar things and acting in the same manner.

Or just use Hitler, he's everyone's go-to example for everything. How and why is he able to garner this level of support this late in the race.

It isn't just that Hillary sucks...though obviously that's what many people believe.
>>
>>81620638
that's what the dunning-kruger effect is:
someone is too stupid to have an unbiased perception of their own intelligence and doesn't have to compete with intelligent people so thinks they're smart

but there are unintelligent people that are self aware enough of to realize that intelligence isn't their strength
and there are people like me who want to believe they're really smart but are afraid that they're actually just slightly above average intelligence

what this has to do with Trump or the Presidential race though i have no idea.
>>
>>81621147

I really don't care, James. Your post is something I use to express myself, for fun. Logic doesn't matter, only self-expression matters; I've learned from the SJW.
>>
>>81621195
I don't think it's meant to be absolute, but rather relative, because the body of unknown knowledge is theoretically infinite. We grasp but a tiny bit of that infinity whenever we learn more about the world.

>>81621549
Kill yourself faggot.

>nothing in his campaign tries to capitalize on this psychological effect

OK, can I shout for a second, so that it's clear?

THIS IS NOT ABOUT TRUMP'S CAMPAIGN. TRUMP IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR THIS PHENOMENON!!

I never said it was because of something he did or that his campaign did. The fact that so many don't understand and keep coming back to this or going immediately to "Hillary...blah, blah.." just proves my point.
