Those photos are taken at different altitudes, nasa did not release those, they have been resized to make it appear they are all the same distance from the earth.
As the earth is a sphere the closer you are to it the more features on the side you approach increase as a percentage of the visible surface.
NASA deliberately states what images are composites and which images are single photographs, composites are many photos that are stiched together because the camera has a very narrow viewing area so they take multiple photos.
NASA has not screwed up, idiots like you just apcannot be bothered to read how a photo is taken and have the mistaken belief it should look the same from all viewing angles, to which I say look around you right now clearly your house is bigger than America.

according to this chart, you shouldn't be able to see Detroit across Lake Michigan because it should have over 600 feet of convex curvature. the problem is that you can, from over 30 miles away we can make calculations for the statue of liberty, lighthouses et cetera. the more you try to prove this curve the more you realize that nothing has ever actually gone below the horizon, which is scary.
there are canals over 5 miles long constructed on a True Level datum. according to this chart, such a canal should have over thirty feet of convex curvature, yet it does not. if you go 5.5 miles out from a lighthouse and open a pair of binoculars the bottom thirty feet of the lighthouse will NOT be hidden. this can be done with any landmark on water, anywhere in the world. the water will remain flat.

Parallax combined with the narrow field of view. If the camera was able to capture the entire width of the Earth/Moon system and you had a monumentally wide TV screen to watch it on, you would see the moon rotate. I'm not sure I understand what you're saying, generally people perceive the sizes of the sun and moon as the opposite of what you describe, that it gets bigger the closer it is to the horizon. This is an optical illusion that comes from the fact you have no point of reference to compare it too if you're looking straight up at it, but once it's near the horizon you can compare it to trees and buildings.
The only reasoning I can think of for the change in size that you're saying is due to the moon/sun simply being dimmer when they're close to the horizon, and producing less glare, therefore seeming smaller.
i think it's interesting that everyone is so quick to yell 'bullshit', but cannot explain why water remains flat in canals, causeways et cetera cast over a True Level Datum. In such a canal 4 miles long, the water level should bulge by ten feet in the middle, yet does not. At distances where curvature is a major facture, both the water and the canal will curve with the Earth, making the water appear totally flat because...well, it's flat relative to the canal (which is flat relative to Earth, which curves).
