Why do we allow these laws to be ratified in the first place, we must know full well what they entail? I can understand why the courts favour the woman in divorce cases because the child needs the mother to be the homemaker while the breadwinner is the father (mother cannot do both). The father also visits to maintain the male role in the child's life, but this all assumes that the woman is innocent and fit to raise the child, which in many cases, she is not. If the woman cheats, she has forsaken her marriage vows and has not been faithful, what makes her fit to be a mother, if she betrays the structure of the family?
As for the rape cases, why do we let this become law? I understand following the law and not making exceptions, but these laws are not logical or reasonable. A man fighting for his nation should be deemed as a hero, not jailed! The boy was 15 and the girl was 18, is this not statutory rape? The lawyers the men hire are so fucking shit in these cases, how do they manage to lose? I have faith in the judicial system (Lady Justice making a fair judgement), but what the hell is this? Why are these laws in place? It is a tough case to prove that the specific judges are biased, I think that the case aligns with these bogus laws and the male lawyers cannot build the necessary rebuttals or something. What else can explain this, who drafts these laws? They assume the best in women and worst in men, women can be adulterous as well, they can commit assault as well.
