France terror attack the other day caused 300 casualties.
Islamaphobia injures millions upon millions of innocent muslims daily.
If you consider the utility islamaphobia is far far worse. Define utility as harm multiplied by victims.
Terror attacks cause great harm (0.95) to a few people (300), yesterday's attack had an impact of 285 therefore.
Daily islamaphobia causes little harm (0.0001) to many hundreds of millions of muslims (let's use a conservative figure of 500,000,000) which means an impact of 50,000.
Who is the bigger villain, hmmm?

There have been 107,602,707,791 people who have ever lived, so the total minimum hedonic value of humanity is -107,602,707,791, discounting all other sources of pain except death.
There are currently 6,987,000,000 people alive today. Killing them all would result in an additional -6,987,000,000 dolors added to humanity's aggregate total, however, from that point on, humanity would no longer be capable of producing dolors.
The goal of hedonism is to maximize hedons and minimize dolors- we can all agree that life sucks, and inevitably ends in death, regardless of what we do. Therefore, since we are all going to die one day anyway, the most on balance ethical thing to do is eradicate our own species, halting its ability to produce dolors.
