After I learned the history of Serbia I really think they deserve it. They fought off the Ottomans and Austria-Hungary and suffered the most. If they weren't fighting for their lives for most of their existence they would probably be a major European power rather than a minor one. Yugoslavia was pretty great, and could have been a much better country than the mess that is there today if foreign powers didn't fear it and destroy it. They also gave the world Tesla.
