The parallel here is great if you're a liberal holding a lot of cognitive bias. Two problems.
The first, is that there is no epidemic of INNOCENT black citizens being shot by police. There have been a couple, and there is a fair trial.
The second, is that the vast majority of the police officers do not condone the violence in the slightest. Even when use of lethal force has been shown to be necessary, police never wanted to kill the criminal.
The shootings of the main BLM poster (good, dindu nuffin) boys, Trayvon Martin , Michael Brown, were proven to be justified. A little different than terrorist attacks on innocent people.

The giant difference being that police are necessary for a civilized society, while muslims aren't.
Also, muslims are grouped by the fact that they all generally believe the same thing. Cops don't believe the same thing. Some are cops because they believe it's their moral duty, while others do it for the money.
