The coup was pathetically unorganized. They didn't shut down government, media or try to mobilize secularists / remove islamists. Within minutes of the tanks moving into the streets, all of the mosques started calling people to come out and fight the rebels.
It wouldn't surprise me if Erdogan was pulling a Hitler on us.

I wanted it to succeed just to see what would happen. But from what I could glean, someone tried to pull an Unternehmen Walküre and failed in a similar way.
did the coup 100% failed? didnt they said that ankara was under the military? and Erdogan was able only to get istanbul back? and all those videos/photos with the soldies getter #rekt are in a loop and only from istanbul....and nobody knows anything about ankara?
