The only reason is that we're a minority(6.5% of Romania is Hungarian).
We usually get shit on due to history related bullshit.
There's not a lot of IT jobs in the extreme-west of Romania and any job you can land is basically hard labor assembly line work that's worse than McDonalds.
The only reason for dual-citizenship is for the extra privileges that a Hungarian passport gives over a Romanian one. For an example, You can travel to Canada visa-free if you're a Hun and if you hold a passport. If you're Romanian, you're out of luck, you require a visa for entry afaik.
Plus I'm sure Hungary has better political relations with how things are going, but I might just be blind towards this and everything could just be a lie. I frankly don't have anything agaisnt USA using Romania's land as a meatshield against Russia however you do know its fucked up to a degree. I know that we're "protected" in case of a war. But we're not protected agaisnt a war breaking out because Putin feels threatened over some protective gear.
