Honestly they've been a detriment for over a decade. Now things have gotten worse with the increase in fundamentalism and the influx of refugees that have been created in the middle east by those types.
Religion is poison for humanity and Islam is like the Polonium of religions. There's very little, if anything redeeming about it. Just cut them off from western society.
