The Islamic world has been using leftist tactics, or rather adopting those tactics more recently in order to graft themselves upon the left by using their language. So, Islam built upon that Alinsky-tier idea of "Days of Rage" and now the term/idea is being re-adopted by the more aggressive left after being out of use.
Then again, you could also argue that the concept of "Days of Rage" was meaningfully introduced with Muhammad and his tactics against non-Muslims, and that it was actually the left that adopted those ideas.
