Internal Market and Consumer Protection comitee will soon vote on several amendments, which could severly restrict gun ownership in the EU.

Most of these """regulations""" are just a framework to make selling guns between member states easier for private individuals.
Afaik the deactivation procedure will now be a bit more rigorous, but an effort was made to keep airsoft and paintball guns easily available.

Depends on who you border with. Finns need guns so conscripts have access to train in their use during peace time. The big 3 dont border anyone dangerous so they probably see less use for guns so this will probably pass. EU rarely cares about the little countries troubles.

EU parliament debates are 99.9% of the MEPs sucking each other off and the remaining 0.01% is the odd Farage rant.
Also, the more scary proposal is the Brussels demand for all asylum legislation to be passed to them, did you read about that? It means you wouldn't even be able to decide who gets to stay and who doesn't, or how many.
