You can rely on politicians to do one thing, and that is to ensure that they get re-elected no matter the cost. Blocking the Brexit would be political suicide and they know it, to the point that it isn't even being considered as a possible outcome. The party will whip up the votes and make sure that everything goes through smoothly.
