They're just memes holy shit, yeah sometimes memes can start here and propagate pretty far, but there's no magic to it. The meme magic "phenomenon" stems from the fact that all of you keep up with current events just from reading /pol/ and there's always some little thing that can be connected back to a meme. In reality though things don't actually connect like that way more often than they do, but when there is a connection people start doing the PRAISE KEK thing. It's classic confirmation bias.
