Basically it's just used as an ad hominem attack like pretty much every criticism against him
Not an expert but from what I understand some retards were bumravaged because they didn't become rich or earn a "bachelors in being rich" degree after running the course, which is about developing skills n techniques to help in business & every day social interactions.
It was a get rich quick scheme. People would invest initial capital (like 5 grand or something) and take classes on how to scam people out of money. Not realizing that the lesson was inside them all along. Just standard modern businessman shit.

Glorified seminars that taught the same things he had in his book. Most people were happy with TrumpU until the housing bubble popped, then many (but still a minority) got angry and TrumpU started doling out refunds left and right.
The one to lead the lawsuit against TrumpU was a woman who had previously loved the courses and had videos and letters talking about it. She was to be the star witness against TrumpU until Trump's lawyers submitted evidence of her being a huge fan, then the anchor baby judge conveniently dismissed her, who is what led to Trump being pissed off and calling him biased.

Considering the entire point of Trump U was to teach prospective scam artists how to in fact scam people, I have no problem with the operation itself being one huge scam. People need to get on Trump's level if they want any hope of defeating him in November.

It was a scam the same way ITT Tech or Devry is a scam.
