It would be easier to identify the ale more than anything I think, as most you find in any store is generally always British based. If you like chocolate, anything Cadburys. If you're like me and you buy water while out to hydrate anything with a town name on like Buxton or Harrogate.

On a technical level it's fantastic and ticks every box but some people see it as being too clinical and manufactured.
The Scotch whisky industry has a notion that it's dirty, handcrafted and down to Earth.
An example is that you always see sparking stainless steel in Jap distilleries while we promote people in stained tops in dark warehouses.

No these are French Fries, they're cut much thinner and are quite often treated in some way especially in fast food places. Fries tend to be crispy where as chips aren't.
Crisps are thin slices of potato that are shallow fried and flavoured then put into bags.

Japanese Whisky is quite nice, I drink it from time to time, but I agree with you it's maybe a bit too clinical, you do get the feeling it's made in a clean room to the very highest spec, where as Scotch especially a good single malt, you can tell is made and stored in wooden barrels which add to the actual flavour and give it character.
I do like both though, I'm not too fussy and will try Whisky from all over the place, getting to drink something different and unique is always good, love me some Irish Whiskey as well.

York Dungeons is good if you're into that sorta thing, got loads of historic building and some good museums, if you're up for a journey from York to Leeds I'd definitely suggest the Leeds Royal Armoury, absolutely great less than an hour from York. Also York has great beers and local produce if you look in the right place.

You can't really say x area is this race for Britain because even if you remove the non Europeans from the equation its a mixed bag, the classes are strongly defined by race.
For example the lower classes are Germanic (anglosaxons), whilst the upper are typically Norman descendants.
We also have a few areas with viking descendants and the like which is where you find a lot of the weird incestuous farmer types.
And of course the Gaelic people in Scotland and Ireland the closest thing to a "Celt".
Celts are just a blanket term for indigenous northern Europeans anyway the guys that where here before the Greeks started fucking around, the tradition later followed by the Romans (which are Greeks with northern African negro thrown in the mix)
