My point is Shinto worship various gods, 8 million of them while Christianity is monotheistic. They can't really be that compatible. If they ever could get along, that's probably because Christian missionaries did thing differently when they are away in Europe, especially in Asia. The Jesuit, for example, tried to incorporate and mix with some of Chinese traditional rites and got in really bad term with the Pope.
Buddhism as a philosophy and spiritual guidance is actually pretty based. When it grew, split into different sects and developed rituals, hierarchy, etc and became established clergy class, they naturally got corrupted along the way like most other religions. I think the fundamentals of Buddhism should have no problem with Shinto or even Christianity though. They acknowledge that higher/divine being/beings exist but also focus way more on personal development and escape from suffering. And Buddha isn't the same as God so no conflict either.

Roseta Stone offers short periods of lessons and techniques to learn the language with proven results in statistics.
