>The U.S. created 287,000 jobs in June, massively topping analyst expectations.
>Economists surveyed by Reuters said they were, on average, expecting nonfarm payrolls to show growth of 175,000 for June, and the unemployment rate to rise to 4.8 percent.
http://www.cnbc.com/2016/07/08/us-created-287k-jobs-in-june-vs-175k-expected-unemployment-rate-at-49-pct.html
>B-but Obama is killing the economy! He's a bad president!
Poltards fucking obliterated yet again.
wtf I love obama now
Yeah Soros has done a really good job of employing thousands of black and white protesters
>The already weak payrolls growth from May was revised even further downward, to 11,000.
>companies create jobs
>somehow obama is praised for it

Wow if everyone is employed, then why do we need to increase the minimum wage?
Oh yeah, because the jobs created are shit tier service industry

I love the picture that shows the stock market going up and gas prices going down and praises obama for it

Actually we had the worst jobs report in decades. OP confirmed faggot
This will get revised down like it does every time. Oh and they nearly all part-time food service or retail jobs. 34.4 hours a week? That's ridiculously low and you cannot have a good living at 34 hours a week working retail.
wtf i love democrats now
>>80228905
yeah 287k mcjobs
>>80228905
wait for that number to be revised in a month or two
also. most of those jobs are likely seasonal work with shit income and will disappear come the fall
>>80228905
That's easy when you force companies to make employees go part-time, thus making them seek out 2 jobs instead of one to provide them with basic needs.
Leisure and Hospitality added 59,000 minimum wage jobs
Education and Health also added 59,000 mostly minimum wage jobs
Retail Trade added 30,000 certainly minimum wage jobs
With more than half of job additions being minimum wage one can see why the June average hourly earnings increase was below the expected 0.2% (and 2.7% Y/Y), instead printing at 0.1% and 2.6%.
Where were the rest of the job increases: Information +44K, Professional Services (ex temps) +23K, Government +22K, Financial Services supposedly added 16K just don't tell all those recently laid off bankers, temp workers rose by 15K, and somehow even manufacturing added 14K despite the ADP report seeing the biggest drop in mfg employment since 2010.
Were there any job losses: yes, in mining and logging, which lost 5K jobs and transportation and warehousing which saw a 9.4K drop as the heavy trucking collapse hits home.
It's looking up here in Sweden as well. Like 4% unemployment among non-immigrants. I'm starting to get scared there'll be another crash before I finally graduate in half a year or so, though. How common are long periods of sustained low unemployment?

Part time jobs don't pay the bills loser.
Unless you like being poor.
>>80228905
The article didn't mention whether they were part-time or full-time, so I bet they're all fucking part-time or zero-hour contracts.
What about people like me who have been working in the restaurant industry with a finance degree and can't find a job because your resume automatically has AIDS since your work history is working in a restaurant after college?

Bloomberg says this
>http://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2016-07-08/payrolls-in-u-s-jumped-287-000-in-june-most-in-eight-months
>The Labor Department’s underemployment rate dropped to 9.6 percent in June, the lowest since April 2008, from 9.7 percent, reflecting a slump in the number of people working part-time for economic reasons. Some 5.8 million workers, the fewest since October, were in part-time jobs but wanted to be employed full time.

RACE WAR
>>80228905
the rate rose 4.9% according to your link. they thought it would rise to 4.8%
so the labor report shows more jobs added and unemployment rising faster than expected.
lets wait for gdp growth and consumption figures before we talk of the economy shall we after all thats when the adults talk of the economy
