I mean, we all know that some of the best universities in the world are in the States, but when it comes to pre-university education (high school, etc) something seems wrong. That's too harsh
For a couple of weeks I went to a high school that is pretty much always ranked as one of top 5 in the nation. And it was absolute, total, dogshit. Fucking hated it, dropped out, and transferred to a standard suburban high school in four weeks.
Thank God I learned that lesson before college. Point is, I wouldn't put all that much faith in whatever rankings put these US colleges on top.
