I would be interested to see why you think one ethnic group other than Europeans integrates better than others and what factors predict successful and rapid integration. Also disregarding any subjectivity, how would you differentiate between good and bad "flavours"? I would think its certainly more difficult the more the home and foreign culture differ but collectivists have a hard time integrating with individualist cultures almost universally. The only other mitigating factors I can think of that would matter are economic standards of living, education and religious denomination. Why not decide based on that instead of geographical location?
Dont get me wrong, it would be laughable to suggest the UK or any western nation is anywhere near perfect on current immigration and integration policy, but I think there is a way to do, in a way that mimics the natural historical precedent of social mobility and cultural proliferation, without diluting the dominant culture.
