Alton Sterling was a pedophile. Alton Sterling has a criminal history that consists of charges of carnal knowledge of a juvenile back in 2000.
Sterling’s court record shows he was accused of several crimes dating back to 1996. He pleaded guilty to aggravated battery, simple criminal damage to property and unauthorized entry, as well as domestic abuse battery. His longest sentence was in 2009, when he was sentenced to five years on possessing marijuana with the intent to distribute and illegally carrying a weapon with a controlled dangerous substance. He also pleaded guilty to illegal carrying of a weapon with drugs and possession of marijuana in 2011 and was sentenced to five years.
In 2015, an arrest warrant was issued for Sterling for failure to register as a sex offender.
A family member told reporters that Sterling was recently incarcerated.
If they want to riot to support a pedophile with a long criminal record that includes weapons possession, I look forward to seeing their defense of him all over the news.

No. The thing that gave those cops "permission" was the fact that he refused to obey a cops order to get down and put his hands behind his head, then he fought back when being subdued, then he reached to his waist for a weapon, then the cop saw the gun in his waist.
Really simple - you obey cops orders. You take your arrest and you call a lawyer. Innocent people have nothing to fear. This clown had an arrest record dating back 20 years and as recent as last month. He made his choice. He chose to fight cops rather than go back to jail. Consequences.
