Most immigrants from mexico during the first 100 years or so after the Mexican-American war were derived from the North and West of Mexico where the Indians were spare, enabling Spanish and castizo populations to become the great majority.
Intermarriage between Hispanics and non-Hispanics was never outlawed like intermarriage between Asians and whites and blacks and whites (and the fact Mexicans were legally white lead to some who married asians and blacks being prosecuted for violating interracial marriage laws) and as a result many Hispanics nowadays are Protestant or have Irish/Polish/Italian surnames if their family has been here a few generations because of intermarriage.
Additionally most legal Hispanics come from the Latin American middle class.
What I'm saying is that most of the 53% of Hispanics who identify as white probably are white, at least in an Italian or Greek sense.
Also if you look at statistics the Hispanic population is always midway between blacks and white in terms of things like employment, median income, single mothers etc. This is not a result of "le hardworking hispanic moving into the middle class" this is a result of white Hispanics being grouped will illegal Hispanics into one big Hispanic category. If you were to grade them separately you would find that illegals are as shit-tier as niggers in all categories while legal/white Hispanics would be on par with whites.
If we keep allowing illegal third worlders in then America will definitely get shittier. As of 2010 about 73% of Americans were whites. As of 2050 that number will be closer to 60%, it will be closer to 50% if Hillary wins because of open borders.
