Knowing this, who do you think Trump should select as his VP?
From a strategic standpoint, I think John Kasich would be the best choice.
He is well-liked in his home state of Ohio and would likely solidify Ohio for team Trump, while also bridging the gap between the establishment and Trump which is essential.
I think Joni Earnest would also be a decent pick. She would give Trump a boost in Iowa (her home state) and may win over some evangelical and female voters.

NEVER pick a VP based on demographics or swing states, it never works. Pick a strong candidate who exemplifies your message and helps you appeal to a broader base.
