Light just has a big impact on your mood and energy levels. Where I live the worst time in December it's just bright outside during 9.00-15.00 or so, if you have NEET sleeping pattern basically you never see sunlight. I can't answer in their behalf, obviously. I think all the reasons OP included are pretty valid, he only lacks that maybe it's (was) a part of our culture. To be honest, I do not think about the cause of the suicides, I think it's pointless. Not to say there aren't any organization that try to prevent them, it's just my personal stand on it. Teachers and parents always come up with reasons why there are so many, I'd rather just listen to any reasons. That's actually from my hometown in Ilulissat. Most of the blocks build are unattractive and no one wants to live there unless they can't afford any other place. They were built during when villages closed down and people had to move to towns, now they built them in Nuuk for the Danish military and workers that intend to stay here max 2-3 years.
I lived in Aarhus last year, that's as furthest I've gone. We're saving up now, wife wants to travel (as do I) maybe to Italy, or just somewhere.

I assume fishing is included when charting a boat, since they do chart boats for whale safari. During winter you can do sledge dog in Ilulissat and ice expeditions.
There are plenty of options for tourists, I imagine they have all the basic you'd want to experience as in when you go to Norway or any landscape that kinda resembles.
Main attractions are Nuuk and Ilulissat. Tourists love icebergs from my hometown.

First friend to commit suicide was by hanging himself in the classroom, we were at 6 grade back then. The second one shot his head off, and third drowned himself, then another hanging, fifth I didn't hear about the method, one electrocution (he was a /b/ tard) and another shot to the head.... What I like about is my childhood friends, and the fact that I can go to any place and have guarantee that I will meet somebody I know, I never really feel quite isolated. As much as there's suicide some people are really friendly, and I have a hard time being around people, so the people I know gives me quite a pleasure. Especially the ones I've had adventures with (biking in the mountains, fist fighting and generally teen mischievous stuff, they do stick with you)
Least favorite would have to be people at my age (30+) turning into alcohols and not taking care of themselves, having a job and so on. It's always disappointing when you meet them later on and they've just lowlifes, especially knowing they were so full of life when they were younger.
