What are some pro and anti refugee arguments?
The subject keeps coming up in my day to day life and I want to be prepared for next time.
Let refugees enter:
*Is Humane thing to do.
*Might promote good relations in the far future
Don't let them in:
*Some of them are actually Jihadis
*Some aren't really planning on leaving
*Cultural differences might be too deep and cause violent outbreaks between native and Refugee populations
Conclusion: It depends on the immigrating populace and political climate
Personal thoughts: You should totally let more uneducated Muslims from a war torn and culturally backwards area into your country Goyim
Pro: makes your country look good.
Con everything else. It's bad for the refuges, it's bad for the countries that take them in, it's bad for the countries they are running away from.
These aren't people coming looking to work for a better life, these are people who were chased out against their will, spitefully living off the generosity of others. These people want to be whatever they were, not to assimilate, and they'll probably hold a grudge no matter what you give them.

Well, what is your argument about, fampai? Are you trying to convince an individual to ascertain truth or convince a group?
If you're trying to ascertain truth and you're not dealing with a tautology, you're going to have to empathize with what values or principles they hold. For instance, if we're talking about a value such as human welfare

>Systems already constructed are not designed to handle this type of strain resulting in thousands of misplaced persons
>The areas these migrants are coming from are now lacking in valuable manpower and educated persons as human capital is being drained out of the country
Arguing for an audience is much easier, but you need to tape into the mood of the group, and you should attempt to entrap your opponent as much as possible. You can resort to fallacies, or poorly constructed arguments; truth really isn't important here.

- many refugees are just economic migrants
- braindrain in the middle east and the third world in general worsing the situation locally
- enabling organized crime by letting them cross in ships that go down half way, partially because the refugees have unrealistic expectations we're not setting straight
- many refugees coming here are dissapointed and wish they hadn't come, it's unfair to bait them into coming and than leave them sitting on the sidelines
- we can't do nothing but letting them sit on the sidelines because we reached the limit of our capabilities
- letting all the migrants in is unfair to the actual war refugees
- many of the refugees cross more than one safe country
- it would be cheaper to house the refugees in north africa for instance
- with a majority of foreign people there's no incentive to integrate
- lower IQ on average (ironic because the brain drain argument still holds true imho), which isn't a big deal if they were to go back, but they won't go back
