No science is actually to the detriment of God. Christian areas are the font of science for a reason, and there's a reason that lot of the early science was coming straight out of the monasteries

Truth cannot contradict truth. If science discovers a truth, it is a truth that God created. There is a difference between observable facts and the theories people propose based on those facts.
