Your daily reminder that trumptards are literally trying to put an anti-vaxxer in charge of the CDC

This will be happening every day if Clinton becomes a president

>taking vaccines

good goy, don't forget to brush your teeth with our fluoride toothpaste.

No candidate is perfect.
>>
He's fucking right though.
It's a free country, let the people choose if they want to be injected with preservatives and liquid metal.
I live in a suburban town with many mentally ill people, almost all of them have had vaccines and parents have said that they noticed significant changes in their child's behavior after vaccines.
As liberal as I am, I support Trump on this one.
>>
>>79731070
Lack of vaccination affects herd immunity retard.
>>
>>79730794
Healthy young /pol/ak goes to Twitter, reads a 140 character tweet with no context from years ago. Thinks it's a policy - AUTISM, Many such cases!
>>
>>79731144
and?
>>
>>79731070
>He's fucking right though.

No he's not though is he

>almost all of them have had vaccines and parents have said that they noticed significant changes in their child's behavior after vaccines.

Fuck does that mean, it is proven there is no link, maybe they changed because... They fucking aged and grew up.
>>
>>79731361
We're better off without polio?

I sometimes forget /pol/ will take absolutely illogical sides to arguments.

Retarded parents should be allowed not to vaccinate their kids. Maybe they'll die and won't spread the dumbass genes any further.

Fake and gay
>>
>>79731445
Get a vaccination if you don't want Polio
I don't see how "herd immunity" gives you the right to control other people's decisions?
>>
>>79731559
>We should allow polio, smallpox, etc to return to be a serious medical problem because some people don't want to vaccinate their kids due to an unscientific and misguided idea that they cause autism
That's literally what you believe.
>>
>1 post by this ID
>>
The alternative is putting a pedophile that funds terrorists into office.
>>
>>79731730

>We should force other people to do things they don't want to do because party of science

That's literally what you believe.
>>
>>79731703
Not everyone CAN get vaccines, and you dont' give vaccines as soon as a child is born. You're arguing that babies a few months old and people with allergies to the vaccines should be exposed to diseases we have effective eliminated from western society just so idiots can feel more comfortable at night.
>>
>>79731445
this desu, most anti-vaxxers get their information from memes and ann coulter. I work at a hospital, we barely ever see someone who refuses to vaccinate their child but 99% of the time they are disgusting mouthbreathers who have probably already passed on a fat load of genetic disorders to their wunderkin. Not vaccinating your kid is literally lose-lose-lose
>>
>>79731815
Trump literally fucks his own daughter
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=diMp241gAcw
>>
>>79731885
We do not currently let people raise their children how they want. If you abuse your child, they are taken away from you. We FORCE you to raise your child within the confines of how we think are acceptable. This seems like reasonable and rational legal standards. I'm as much for freedom as the next guy, but I am also a pragmatist. I do not believe that innocent children should die or be made physically and often mentally by the hundred thousands like it was a century ago just because people like you go "muh freedom" at the thought of people being forced to treat their kids well.
>>
>>79731045
this desu senpai

he's not perfect, but the god emperor is the best we've got.
>>
>>79730794
We have a right to informed CONSENT.
So fuck off.

Also, why can't you sue a company for damages from being vaccinated? Do we need to protect the companies because their product is... Idk.. Harmful??
>>
all you people are autistic i bet you were vaccinated too.
though autism is a genetic disorder so cant really be given to you through a vaccine i guess you will just have to blame your parents
>>
>>79731926
and what's intrinsically wrong with that?
it's not like your argument is any different, where everyone should get vaccinated so brainwashed shills like you can feel comfortable at night.
>>
>>79731662
There is shit that is contagious that we can't allow retards to spread to people who don't have a potato for a brain.
>>
>>79731144
You refer to yourself as a member of a herd and don't see a problem with it.
Don't be a sheep. Think for yourself.
>>
I literally don't give a fuck about the vaccine issue at all. If I had to rank the issues I care about, I think I would put vaccines and Trump's comments about them somewhere between what Trump will wear on his Inauguration Day, and a trade deal with Fiji.
>>
>>79732149

Gee, that's a good point. In fact, I wonder why we even let unqualified parents raise their children at all. It seems to me like we ought to take children away from their parents at birth and raise them in state-sponsored collectives where we can be sure that they are brought up with the proper value imparted upon them by authorities. After all, who's a better judge of morality: people, or the government?
>>
>>79732022
That's not what the word literally means America.
>>
>>79730794
Trump's not an anti-vaxxer, and Ben Carson agrees with his stance. The stance? That vaccine regimens for small children should not be given in large doses, but rather broken up into many small doeses over a period of months. Saged.
>>
>>79732303
>brainwashed shills
So tell me, anon.

What happened to smallpox?
My great uncle was retarded because he had polio as a child. What happened to that disease that was so prevalent just 2 generations ago?

I
>>
Also, if you think vaccines cause autism, you're probably autistic yourself and are Alex Jones tier conspiritard.

I would like to think /pol/ was smarter than this.
>>
>>79732496
You're right. If you have a kid, you should have the right to beat its face in until it can't breath, smother it with a pillow, and then hang it from your front tree. After all, it's your kid and you have the right to do what you want with it, right?

Unless of course it's a fetus in the womb, then it has the right to life :^)
>>
>>79732496
Sounds better than wal-mart brand people ever reproducing.
>>
>>79732496
Children aren't property.
>>
>>79732566
Doesn't matter if they do or not.
Informed consent.
>>
>>79732546
Doesn't mean vaccines don't cause autism anon. Vaccines are overused and bastardizes through corporatism in the first place, you think they don't have a directive to lie about vaccines en mass?

What kind of authority are you in the first place? Are you a nurse at least?
>>
>>79730794
Pretty much why I used a staggered schedule for my kids. I noticed a change in them for a few days after their shots, even when it was one at a time and spread out over several months.

The vax schedule that most doctors suggest is ludicrous and potentially harmful. Trump is partially right. Get second opinions, use common sense and and trust your parental instincts.
>>
>>79731070
>As liberal as I am, I support Trump on this one.

There exist comments like this, and /pol/lacks still pretend that Hillary is the one sending shills

>>79731319

And during the GOP primary debates, Trump claimed that he had literally seen vaccines give babies autism, but I figured an image would work better on an imageboard
>https://youtu.be/hVHGE_JLQ6I?t=98
>>
>>79732829
Except in this case, your lack of consent affects other people in addition to you or your child if you choose to need get vaxxed. By the way, did you get vaccinated as a kid? How's that working out for you?
How've you been avoiding polio and smallpox this whole time?
>>
>>79732546
What's your point? That we should damage our glands and conequentially our organs just because it works to prevent some diseases?
>>
>>79731363
Mercury crosses the blood-brain barrier. Even if the amount of mercury with multiple vaccines did not cause Autism they still affect the brain negatively.
>>
>>79732837
>Accepts the science that vaccines prevent life-threatening diseases
>Refuses to accept the mountain of evidence that says they don't cause autism

You can support Trump and think he's wrong on an issue, anon. It's okay. People do it all the time.
>>
>>79730794
Trump knows the truth about the vaccine overload because it happened to his youngest son Baron. Him and Melania keep quiet about it in public.
>>
>>79732829
that's not what i'm saying, i agree informed consent is important, it just has no connection to autism.
>>
>>79732837
And what authority on you? I never seen a single shred of credible or scientific evidence that points to a correlation of vaccinations and autism.

I don't even understand why people are against it, beyond "muh gov tryna control me!". You have the opportunity to immune yourself with almost 100% rates against deadly diseases and you choose not to? You choose not to with your children?
>>
>>79731885
You're a fucking moron. If millions of kids don't get vaccinated them diseases that we only get a handful of cases of will come back in full force and drive up everyone's healthcare costs. Its in the interest of society that its members are healthy and disease free and you fucking mongs are undermining that because "muh feels". Never have children please.
>>
>>79732666
Nice try satan.
This isn't even a comparable response to what he said.
We have countless books on elitist who want to collectiveise children's up bringing.
What you mentioned is not normal, people don't act that way, and when they do other people react to it.
So fuck off with your stupid fantasies about what you would do to your kids if BB didn't stop you, you sick liberal fuck.
>>
>>79733037

Do you have any proof that vaccines damage our "glands" and organs?

>>
>>79733074
Prove to me that they are credible sources. Does the CDC ever lie? From what I understand from the medical industry, scientists are paid off by major corporations responsible for manufacturing in order to turn a profit

>Prove it
>>
>>79733107
It's called reductio ad absurdum, m8, and it's exactly what he was trying to say. The overarching point is that there is a line, and parents do not have unlimited freedom to treat their kids however they want. Once you accept that line exists, as clearly you and everyone who doesnt' beleive a parent has the right to murder or beat their kids up within an inch of the life clearly does, then it's simply a matter of where that line is drawn.
>>
>>79730915

>>
>>79732981
In no one has it, then where am I gonna catch it from?
Also, driving a car out other at risk, but we know you want to ban that so why bother.
Your feelings, or even safety, do not trump the rights of others.
If you want to be a good little cattle go ahead.

Btw heard emunity is also heard weakness. The idea of a vaccine doesn't have to be bad, for me to put toxic chemicals, or aids in it. And give it to millions of people.

>>
>>79733342
Anon, dismissing every source as corrupt is silly. If someone gives you sources like the CDC, the national institute of health, etc, all trusted by doctors and medical professionals across the country, then you should read those analyses and find the faults in them yourself.

But I digress. If all sources to you are non-credible because it's the only way your argument saves face, you've already lost the argument. So there we are.
>>
>>79733461

Yes. You need to post sources when making those kind of outlandish claims.

>For starters, the video was narrated by Andrew Wakefield, the British researcher responsible for seeding the questions about vaccines and autism in the first place. In 2010, the General Medical Council in the UK revoked his license to practice medicine and a year later, the journal that published his paper concluded that his findings were fraudulent.

>>79733636
>correlation
We didn't start diagnosing autism en masse until the 90s. Since then, we've gotten better at determining who is on the spectrum, and people who in the past would just be dismissed as "different" are now diagnosed with things like Asperger' Syndrome. This is the same type of correlation as "in the summer, ice cream sales rise, as do drowning deaths. Therefore, Ice cream causes drowning."

As for the anecdotal evidence, it's just that. Parents buy into the narrative people have told them, and decide that of all the possible things that could have caused their child's autism, it's that one particular thing they did one time that for sure did it because that's what the conspiracy people online told them.
>>
>>79733994
What vaccines do you get that you need to take multiple of in the span of 5 years?
>>
>>79733609
>Lost the argument

My argument is, with some of the worst government corruption in the history of the United States (including the election if Chester Alan Arthur) why do you think medical professionals trusted by the government are to seem trustable? Many people pass themselves off as medical professionals by, like I've said before, forgery and other untruthful means. Listening to conversation from those who have experienced corruption in elite labs has destroyed my trust in these reports until some punitive measures are taken.

What makes you think your "heroes" of the medical industry are as they seem beyond a reasonable doubt when there is widespread evidence to doubt them?

No. I don't. They are as reliable as eye witnesses at a crime, and as any person in law enforcement will tell you with gusto, eye witnesses are really fucking unreliable. People are inclined to realign their memories in ways that suits their personally accepted narrative. It's just human nature. I don't believe the parent-child bond is so special that it somehow overrides that and gives humans perfect and precise memory of every facet of their child. I do not believe it overrides the bias we all have to remember anecdotal evidence that supports our claims more strongly than that which refutes it. And I certainly don't believe parents aren't just as prone to be idiots as everyone else.

So no. I don't believe those parents.

Want to know what else causes health problems?

The illnesses they protect against. And fevers that can bring a childs brain to temperatures that guarantee permanent brain damage seem like reason enough to take some medicine. The excuse that a drug might contain tiny amounts of something not nice for you is pathetic. All these anti-vax faggots would have their kids hanging around car fumes and eating food that's horrific for their bodies. Daily exposure to every day things in life and bad diet will do an incredible amount worse than a tiny shot which can prevent the kid from literally dying or spreading an illness to another kid with a weak immune system. We've had infants die in Canada because some asshole parent didn't want their kid to get a shot because of some internet tinfoil hat rumour. If your kid spreads an illness that gets someone elses child injured or killed they should get manslaughter charges.

If you get a vaccine however, it is different. If you die or get sick or injured, there are laws preventing you from sueing the makers of the vaccine.

While I'm not anti vaccine, I'm waiting until my kid is at least 6 months old until I get him started.

I had to find a new pediatrician for my son due to being dropped as a patient (which is legal) because I didn't want to follow the CDC guideline of vaccination (8 vaccines at once by 2 months)

I found a new pediatrician who will allow a delayed vaccination schedule. Believe it or not, he's an old Jew who believes parents have a right to choose what gets pumped into their kids.

The new schedule for kids is 49 vaccines by the time they reach 5. It was 18 for kids born in the 80s and early 90s, and our parents got about 5. The risk of autism has increased dramatically since then. It's not a coincidence.

Except easily treatable diseases also can be fatal. And the fatality rates of all the vaccines combined are lower than all of the fatality rates of any single disease the vaccine is for.

It's a bit like opting to shoot yourself later in the thigh instead of now on your foot.

- In 1911, Dr. Hideyo Noguchi of the Rockefeller Institute for Medical Research injected 146 hospital patients (some of whom were children) with syphilis. He was later sued by the parents of some of the child subjects, who allegedly contracted syphilis as a result of his experiments

- In 1941, at the University of Michigan, virologists Thomas Francis, Jonas Salk and other researchers deliberately infected patients at several Michigan mental institutions with the influenza virus by spraying the virus into their nasal passages

- In 1950, in order to conduct a simulation of a biological warfare attack, the U.S. Navy sprayed large quantities of the bacteria Serratia marcescens – considered harmless at this time – over the city of San Francisco during a project called Operation Sea-Spray

- From April 10, 1945 to July 18, 1947, eighteen people were injected with plutonium as part of the Manhattan Project.[67] Doses administered ranged from 95 to 5,900 nanocuries

- Immediately after World War II, researchers at Vanderbilt University gave 829 pregnant mothers in Tennessee what they were told were "vitamin drinks" that would improve the health of their babies. The mixtures contained radioactive iron and the researchers were determining how fast the radioisotope crossed into the placenta.

- In June 1953 the United States Army formally adopted guidelines regarding the use of human subjects in chemical, biological, or radiological testing and research, where authorization from the Secretary of the Army was now required for all research projects involving human subjects

Yes, yes, nice strawman...

HOWEVER

You still haven't answered the question. If one directly or indirectly causes someone's death it should be negligent homicide or manslaughter. Why should it be any different? If someone's kid gets polio from some dumb faggot, shouldn't they be held responsible?
Do we just let people get away with poisoning other people? Is it considered ok to poison people, however indirectly? You can sue a major corporation for poisoning your water, who do you punish for small-scale biological terrorism?

Mercury and thimerosal aren't the same thing. Elements do not retain their original properties when combined with other elements - otherwise table salt would be explosive.

Thimerosal contains mercury - specifically ethylmercury which breaks down and is passed out of the body. This has never been found to be majorly harmful, but was remove from many (maybe all) vaccines anyway.

This is all explained in the links you posted, which you apparently didn't read.

I guess since like 30 mostly elderly people die a year from tetanus I should accept dozens of mandatory vaccines and their additives.

I'm not being sarcastic honestly. I will never question the almighty CDC again.
>>
>>79736431
There's also a special vaccine court that hands out compensation without requiring you to prove the vaccine caused what you're whining about, so you can get free money for having an autist kid as long as he got vaccinated first.

Then the antivaxxers tout all vaccine court judgements as proof that vaccines caused their kid's autism - even when their next kid grows up completely unvaccinated and is STILL autistic.

Almost like there's a correlation between mentally dysfunctional parents and mentally dysfunctional kids here...

most vaccines are useless at best and harmful at worst. trump is right and many doctors are starting to go against the shill narrative. The standard barrage of vaccines comes heavy and fast currently(49 injections in the first year) and many doctors are starting to space the vaccines out and rethink unnecessary vaccines. Notice how he didn't say we should get rid of vaccines he called awareness to the amount that children are being bombarded with at one time. I always find it strange how emotional vaccines shills get about this subject as if they were some religious cult defending their god. These same people have generally no faith in the government or big pharma but when it comes to vaccines suddenly all is right and we should trust. The best argument they have is that we should force millions of people to take potentially damaging shots for "herd immunity" to help the weak; further ironic/amusing that the atheist left is virulently supportive of keeping alive people that darwinism should be weeding out by damaging the healthy.

>>
>>79740383
Tetanus is a combination vaccine. You get 5 doses as a child and a booster every 10 years or so. That's not dozens of vaccines.

But yes, I would rather have 10 vaccines in my whole life with < 1% chance of complications than risk getting diseases like Tetanus. Most people agree with my logic.
>>
>>79740701
>Do you know why that number is so low you fucking mongoloid?
>Vaccinations
60% of the people who got the disease were vaccinated dambass.
>>
>>79730794
His solution is literally just spacing out the vaccines a little instead of taking them all at once. It's completely fine and won't reduce their effectiveness and if that assuages a big part of the anti-vaxxer concerns and gets them to do it then I see no problem with it.

It's not really the kind of thing that would weigh heavily on my mind, lots of bigger issues than the specific time people are vaccinated
>>
>>79741094
>dambass
Kek.

Vaccines aren't foolproof. Imagine how many more people would get it if nobody was vaccinated. Also, vaccines inherently help fight the disease in the cases where you still contract it. That's how the immune system works.
>>
>>79740952
I was referring to all the vaccines the government wants to force, which is easily dozens.

My mistake, they just give dozens of doses of about 1 dozen vaccine.

I don't have the list of the vaccines they want mandatory, but they've already begun requiring them if you want to send your child to public school.
>>
>>79740909
And since no Americans ever leave the developed world for any reason whatsoever we don't have to worry about it coming back

What makes more sense: a strategy that relies on the assumption that no foreigners come here AND no westerners decide to go slumming, or a strategy that actually has a chance of wiping polio out hard enough that in a few decades we REALLY won't need the polio vaccine?
>>
>>79742024
Again, no they don't. In a child's life they will probably have about 10 vaccine doses recommended to them.

I'm sure none of the drop in disease has to do with awareness of disease, preventative measures, availability of first aid treatments, access to running water.
