Not really. The 50s is shrouded in myth and romanticism, but when you look at the reality you see a world that was still in many ways pre-modern. Disease and viruses still killed by the millions even in the developed world, especially young children, and working hours were long with comparably few benefits and worse working conditions. Diets were high in saturated fats and cholesterol, and the only thing saving the people living then from being obese unhealthy lardasses was that they simply couldn't afford to eat that much. Suburban women enjoyed lives of quiet desperation as machines took over more of the housekeeping leaving them with hours of free time and nothing to do, resulting in record drug use even among the middle class. The legal system was a rort (not that it's much better today) and political repression was a reality for the American left.
It was a time like any other.
I love the 50's but I wouldn't live there. The culture and tech is too different and I'm not sure what I would do without 4chan to shitpost on.

Work hours in the developed world were a godsend in the 1950s compared to lots of countries today, like 45 hours a week, big deal. Suburban women spent their times running charities and bake sales and dances and all kinds of things, not just housework. Drug use was way down, crime was way down and political repression of the left was there for a good reason. The legal system was bad I'll give you that, but everything else you said is exaggerated Progressive propaganda.
