I have an M.D. in History from the University of Houston and a B.A. in Ecology from Northern Illinois University. Obviously it comes about more naturally with closer friends. I was always very close with my history professors because I was often late/absent and needed to suck up, and I'd stay after class a lot. I had a real heart-to-heart with one professor, he had picked up signals I put out in classroom discussions and mentioned it to me directly after class. Belgium was indeed once a beautiful country, despite the fact that it's a non-country. Fyi, not even 10% of the Flemish population wants the country to split, independence sentiment is not the majority opinion. Most people want more autonomy for the regions and feel both Flemish/Walloon and Belgian.
There will be no rise in our country, I fear. Though I must say that I am proud that we were one of the first countries with a major far-right party: Vlaams Belang. Sadly, they were excluded from power and they are irrelevant now.

I am not arguing a case for the holocaust or gas chambers existing but arguing that it is a 100% fact that the Nazis were ruthless killing machines.
My own grandmother and grandfather (who did not know each other at the time until after the war) witnessed Nazis kill lots of innocent people in Poland and they were forced into camps. My grandmother luckily escaped the Nazis who ordered all of the people in the camp to be taken out into the woods and were murdered as holes were dug.
How can anyone deny these facts?
Of course, as the years pass by and all the eye witness testimony individuals die out; there won't be much else to prove that it did happen unfortunately just like what happened to ancient civilizations and the "Jesus did not exist" followers.

I know a Latvian guy who was forced into the Nazi Germany army although all the Latvians had to wear a Latvian flag symbol on their shoulder to show that they were not Germans.
He was never ill treated by the Germans although he did almost starve to death due to their being hardly any food supply.
