In any case, [current year] South Park has diverged pretty heavily from what the show was and is pretty much trash. The show used to be about stories, the show's inside jokes, and interaction between the characters.
Now the story arcs are extremely forced with poor transitions between scenes. And the show's characters feel like shells of themselves which are only used to comment politically on current events.

There is absolutely no main character development, inside jokes or meaningful interaction left with the main group. Every season they pick a social issue and just run with it, using predominantly new characters and celebrity impersonations while the characters we started to love the show for go completely ignored.

South Park is suffering from Simpsons Syndrome and just getting retarded because they've been doing it so long. But that doesn't change the fact that there are like 12 seasons worth of good episodes at least.
They're also releasing a second South Park game, the first one was pretty surprising in how well the show's characters and humor transitioned into a game.
