Reminder to all /pol/acks
Based Jane, a who happens to be one of those women, you know those creatures which you all constantly claim are the ones behind the destruction of Europe, has more balls and courage than all of you put together.
She stood alone amongst thousands of fanatical extremists berating her while you shit post on pol about women.

Well Satan, I'd say France, Germany and the UK not pounding each other into rubble for over 70 years now is a pretty good reason to like the EU. That and dem EU funds for dem programs and free trade and sheeit.

EU was made several decades after the end of WW2. Also the idea of creating an authoritarian superstate antagonising russia will no doubt result in a far worse war.

which we receive 25% of the money we sent to the EU back for and they tell us how it's spent.

Indeed.

EU=dictatorship

authoritarian superstate autocracy eroding all European culture and amalgamating it into one sickly SJW mess.

>EU was made several decades after the end of WW2.
The ECSC was set up in 1952 though, with the explicit goal of making those countries interdependent for essential war materials (coal and steel) so they couldn't wage war against each other. That evolved and expanded into the EEC, the EC and eventually the EU.
In a way, it's a victim of its own success. The idea of European nations going to war is preposterous to people now precisely because the European project fulfilled its goal so well.
>Also the idea of creating an authoritarian superstate antagonising russia will no doubt result in a far worse war.
It's neither authoritarian nor a superstate though (what kind of "superstate" can't raise its own taxes ffs?). It's got problems, big problems, but they're not among them.
In fact, the authoritarianism tends not to come from the EU itself but from the bigger EU states throwing their weight around on the European Council and using the EU for their own national gains.
Germany is notorious for this. The whole strategy for addressing the Eurozone crisis began and ended with "what's best for Germany?" while they fucked the PIIGS' economies raw. Similar story with the migrant crisis - Merkel decides fuck law and shit and fucking unilaterally suspends the Dublin Regulation and gives the two fingers to every other EU state between Syria and Germany.
France (harmonise all your taxes to our stupidly high level so we can compete) and the UK (give us more of everything and let us pay less than everyone else for it) are no angels either when it comes to cynically using the EU to advance their own agendas at others' expense.
The whole balance of power in the EU is arseways. They should move more power over to the European Parliament tbqh, it would be much fairer and less open to abuse and we'd actually elect them instead of having leaders of other countries appointing themselves the de facto leaders of the EU through the European Council (e.g. Merkel).

>which we receive 25% of the money we sent to the EU back for and they tell us how it's spent
That money goes to weaker regions - Poland, Romania, Wales etc - so that they develop their economies and then down the road you'll have more people and richer people to trade with. The UK, the EU's third largest economy with 15% of its GDP, is already a rich nation and therefore doesn't need that development cash as much as the ex-communist countries do and so logically is a net contributor.
