Up in the polls, but down under Hillary's heel. So as far as reality is concerned, he's got all his work ahead of him. You've seen the graphs. He has never once beaten Hillary in the polls and often tracks nearly ten points behind.

How's two days ago for recent?

>NEW YORK, July 1 (Reuters) - Democratic presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton's lead over Republican Donald Trump has dipped into the single digits among likely U.S. voters for the first time in nearly two weeks, according to a Reuters/Ipsos poll released on Friday.

>The June 27-July 1 poll showed a 9.4 percentage point lead for the former secretary of state over the New York businessman, down slightly from an 11.2 point lead in a previous five-day poll that ended on June 28.

>Clinton had maintained a double-digit lead in the rolling poll since June 20, as she recovered from a brief boost in Trump's numbers in the wake of the mass shooting in Orlando, Florida, when he renewed a call for a ban on Muslim immigration.

A few points fluctuation one way or the other won't save Trump. And that's all he ever achieves. She's got this locked.

But when they debate, Hillary is going to mop the floor with him. It's all she's done for her entire life. Trump has great style during a debate and can control the moderators well, but he doesn't have the substance, the command of the knowledge or developed, coherent policy plans. He's been knocking around guys like Rubio and Cruz, but those guys are lightweights compared to Hillary. Trump is not battle-tested and when he meets the final boss, he's going to get BTFO.

Dude, you're making my point entirely.

She struggled against Bernie, yes. And why? Because he had the FACTS, the arguments, the coherent world view. But he was still too left wing for the establishment to tolerate, so he got axed.

Hillary wasn't as substantive as Bernie, but she's vastly more substantive than Trump. And unlike Bernie and Trump, the establishment DOES love her. So you see, she's got the advantage over Trump on both points.

Everyone paying attention to what's actually happening knows that Trump has no chance, absolutely none. It's not because people are embarrassed to admit that they would vote for him, it's because they won't vote for him, at all. What the polls in the UK referendum told us, is that even when the average polls show 50/50 divide you can get polls that show an easy 12pt inaccuracy, we had a 52% win when some said we'd see a 40% loss, average all of them and we still saw a slightly favoured remain vote but got a slightly favoured leave vote. Best case is trump gets under her skin and she goes berserk. Insulting Bill won't work since she hates Bill and his girlfriends. Hillary should have the usual talking points memorized. Maybe Trump could go after Hillary's lesbian lover.

There is always the coughing or getting Hillary to shit her pants on stage too.
>>
I understand the pain of being a Trump supporter. Most people I know believe that the only reason he's so popular is because of racists. The media narrative is attractive. It allows people to project their own racist attitudes onto others.

I had a long and tedious argument with a friend yesterday who while saying things like, "Trump is clearly racist, even if nothing he has said is actually racist. You just have to read between the lines." When I accused him of projecting, he said "I'm not!" I then had to explain to him by dissecting his statements to in fact prove that what he was saying was classic projection, but he wouldn't concede.

The attractiveness of scapegoating others with your own darker thoughts is made very easy by the fact that Trump makes imprecise statements that can be construed as racist, when one broadens the term 'racist' to fit a definition that resembles what they fear themselves to be.

A FUCKING LEAF!

Watch the fervour with which college students burn an American flag, casting aspersions at it, saying it represents genocide, racism, income inequality, colonialism, everything that is evil. They are attaching their sins of guilt over their own privelige because the absolute worst thing to be is someone that appreciates the benefits they've enjoyed by living in a country like the US, and not recognizing that your country is evil for having been successful.

It's the same scapegoating going on with folks who rail against Trump supporters. The idea of making America great, or putting America first is unsettling to them because it flies in the face of what they believe about America. What the believe about America is predicated on the same type of guilt.

>it is kinda funny how the republicans hate trump so much, that they'll vote for a women they've hated for 20 years

They just say that trying to convince everyone to go with say Cruz. In the end they will never vote for the bitch. Same goes with most of the Sanders people that say they will vote for Trump. However, Sanders people are pretty damn crazy.

Prepare for the landslide.

You'll be shaking like a leaf.

I know a lot of college kids and 98% of them are pretty normal. A few of them are able to get on the news by doing odd things but they are the real 1%.

It's funny that so many of the young kids don't know just how bad the Democrats can loose it. It would not take much for Trump to win by an enormous margin.

That happened when less women than men voted and when the country was far more white.

And, Fucking Mondale almost lost his own damn state...

You can rest assured that a lot of people really hated Reagan back then too like I did ;)

Listen to your friends when next in a casual setting. The ones who are quickest to cast aspersions of racism are usually the same ones to make racist jokes when relaxed around people they trust not to judge them.

If they were so educated then why didn't they vote?

The polls underestimate Trump, I have no doubt about that. It's closely related with Brexit and we all know what happened there.
the question is how skewed are the polls? Unlike the flip-flopping that happened with the Brexit polls, Clinton has consistently beaten Trump in the polls, and frequently by quite a large margin. As it is, I would predict a Clinton win. This could all change once the campaigning in the next round really starts, and Trump starts getting some momentum, but there's no guarantee yet.

None of my friends ever behave like this.

Either they're racist or they're not.

I think this leaf is onto something.

They're superior politically, just look at their PM!

Of course...

If Hillary gets indicted or something in the Clinton Foundation explodes.

Biden/Sanders 2016

He's on the up-trend, and it's not embarrassment, it's "I'll be fucking physically harmed by leftists, branded a racist, and have a witch hunt come after me that will ruin my life if I admit to supporting him."

Yes good thing she's a veteran politician who is accustomed to to fucking around with militaristic incursions in other sovereign nations and good thing she'll keep up the status quo of giving billions to Israel.

>Biden/Sanders 2016

Biden is an extremely powerful Democrat. If Biden and Sanders really were to oppose Trump we Trump people would be in a world of shit! We try to make plans if that were to happen but it would be almost impossible to beat them.
