Check the death tolls of the camps on Wikipedia. The official number (including POWS and such) is now only around 2 million.
I suspect it's even lower considering that the only physically existing gas chambers are both sketchy. The concrete walls of the Auschwitz chamber are covered in scratches apparently made by fingernails, and the chmabers at Dachau have windows and no locks on the doors.

He said every other book uses secondary sources in their books and quote each other all day everyday and even use proven fake works as sources. If 1.1 million people were killed in Auschwitz, 800k in Treblinka, 167k in Sobibor, 200k in Chelmno/Kulmhof, 80k in Majdanek, 500k in Belzec, this amounts to only a total of 2.9 million people.
These were all the death/extermination camps in Poland, btw.
If you add in the victims of all other concentration camps where no large scale (50k and more) gassings took place, and people only died out of other causes like disease and attrition, I'd say you'd get another 600,000 or so.

More recently, the Holocaust-deniers have begun to rely on the testimony of Ivan Lagace, who apparently said at the Zündel trial and later in print that it takes six or eight hours per body.
The IHR has a lot of nerve complaining that survivors' testimonies contradict each other on technical details like cremation time -- it can't even get its own story straight!
The discrepancy between the IHR's estimates and the actual time (more like 30 minutes) is chiefly due to the fact that the IHR is confusing military-industrial crematoria with everyday civilian crematoria.
When they say "professional crematory operators," they mean people like Lagace, whose job is to cremate one corpse at a time, with a coffin, in an oven designed to incinerate even the largest bones into a fine ash for the next of kin to take home. This situation is obviously not comparable to the situation at Auschwitz-Birkenau during the Second World War.
For example, Lagace would never even consider mixing or "comingling" the ashes of one deceased person with those of another. Lagace and the IHR forget that two or three emaciated corpses could be inserted into each "muffle." This would, of course, never be done in a civilian, commercial establishment.

Holocaust ovens were nowhere near as efficient as disposal as the ones we use today. Ours literally has a jet-like torch that incinerates everything, so to speak. Human ashes aren't like ashes from a cigarette; they're actually very gritty, almost gravelly, and bones account for a good deal of that. When exposed to the heat we apply, bone calcifies, and begins to break down, but I don't see that as plausible during WWII.
Some of our cremation ovens these days have compactors, which deal with pulverizing any remaining bone left over, which would explain why some people are misled into believing a typical furnace will get rid of everything down to the subatomic particle. That doesn't fucking happen. That's not to mention things like implants, such as plates or metallic joints, which - out of six gorillion - you would think one of then, at least, had. So far as I know, nothing like that ever came out of Treblinka. Add in the fact that it personally takes me quite some time to get the furnace cleaned, once it's cooled off enough, even after one cremation, these dicks are trying to say they could just stack them like fucking cordwood and toss in a few more. I also imagine those chimneys would have to have been swept on an every-other-day basis, which is something I also never heard of happening yet. Absolutely ridiculous.

Also, typically, a commercial crematory operator will burn a corpse for an extended period to remove all traces of carbonized flesh, i.e., to whiten the bones. Even so, such processes only extend the total cremation time to between two and four hours, and not the six to eight hours that Lagace claimed. Lagace forgets that such cosmetic concerns were not of importance to the Nazis.
Those errors aside, there is still simply no question about the burning times of the ovens. In 1939, the firm of Topf and Sons was awarded a contract to build a Dachau furnace which had an estimated capacity of one corpse per hour per muffle (times two muffles). By increasing the air pressure, by July 1940 they had produced a furnace that could burn just under two corpses per hour per muffle (again, times two muffles). It required three hours of maintenance per day, a far cry from the twelve hours per day claimed by the IHR.
The crematoriums that were eventually installed at Auschwitz-Birkenau were massive. They were capable of disposing of several bodies per muffle in half an hour or so, and they could run for days at a time without maintenance. (There were difficulties eventually, however, and several of the ovens were out of service for months at a time.) Topf and Sons was awarded a patent in 1951, and the patent also states that a single muffle can cremate a corpse in half an hour.

2,000 mm x 700 mm x 700 mm (about 79 ins x 28 ins x 28 ins). They were specifically designed to cremate one body at a time,
and that's when they were at their greatest efficiency. If you tried to stuff multiple corpses simultaneously into one muffle,
the reduced cross-section means that the hot gases must speed up, thereby transferring less heat to the corpses and more to
the firebricks in the exhaust vent and chimney, and the refractory walls cannot radiate heat so well to the corpses because
each corpse helps to shield the other. That's before we take into account the fact that at only 1.6 kg of coke per corpse,
there is negligible auxiliary energy available for heating the gases.

In all cases, the animals died. Death was swifter when the intake of air to the engine was restricted, as this causes a large increase in the amount of carbon monoxide (CO) that is emitted.
