Before they moved to the US only piers morgan was a household name. None of these celebrities were popular in the uk before moving to america, and we have plenty of celebrities and comedians that are actually good. What do the american media mean by this?

Piers Morgan was made famous in the US by Trump. Trump is the reason he was ever given a show in the US. Trump asked piers flat out if he would support his run for presidency, and Piers said he would. That was 8 years ago.
