FEDERAL AGENTS LIVID ABOUT LYNCH-CLINTON MEETING

>FBI agents are "livid" about Attorney General Loretta Lynch's meeting with Bill Clinton, Fox News chief intelligence correspondent Catherine Herridge reported today on Outnumbered.

>Herridge said that, according to a well-placed FBI source, the agents are not just upset about the poor optics of the meeting.

>She explained that Bill Clinton is a potential witness because the FBI is separately investigating corruption allegations against the Clinton Foundation.

http://archive.is/s2iw9

So to summarize
>Met with Bill Clinton, got caught
>Lies about purpose of meeting
>Lynch has officially washed her hands like Pontius Pilot, politically insulating herself from the FBI's findings
>New leak confirming the Foundation is also being investigated.

How much you faggots wanna bet Bill was offered immunity to testify? And how much you wanna bet he's gotten a threat that if he doesn't play ball, they'll trot out Jeffrey Epstein, the pedo king?

The deep state doesn't care about an ex-President flying around on a foreign dime giving "speeches"

It does care about its own agents and intel being exposed and/or sold to foreign donors and a quid pro quo arrangement for foreign policy.

TL;DR: We're about to witness a happening of epic proportions.

This is some House of Cards shit. She knows Clinton is guilty, but doesn't want to be the one to sink her and get involved in the scandal, so she purposefully implicates herself. Now it's out of her hands, the buck is passed to the FBI. When she pulls the trigger, it will be seen as her doing her duty.

That's the only logical reason. Neither of them are dumb enough to meet in public for a half an hour and expect them to believe that they were talking about their grandkids the day before a critical juncture.

that's not exactly true, but mostly yeah. there are exceptions to the communications privilege, so, if you waive spousal privilege and testify, you might still be compelled to reveal something that would have been privileged communication if the circumstances were different -- and those circumstances pretty much only ever end up there because people testify.
>>
>>79449317
you won't find any material evidence of the meeting. it was held on the tarmac on lynch's (or clinton's) jet.

She knows that this is a radioactive mess that is going to end the career of anyone who touches it, and she knows that if she doesn't do something with it, she's in trouble, as Hillary herself has openly admitted to breaking federal law (and Obama said we should forgive her after she announced it on the white house rose garden).

Here's the problem: if she blocks it, everyone will know that certain politicians can break the law without consequence. If she pushes forward, her career is going to end. So she's doing nothing, and just saying, "The FBI's decision will be the deciding factor."

It's all she could do, especially after getting caught in an Ex Parte meeting with Bill Clinton, which a first year law graduate could tell you not to do.

Depends when charges are brought forward. If it's after the registration deadline, Supreme Court will bar her from running, and any other nominee will be selected past registration, so there won't be a democrat candidate name on the ballot, meaning you would have to write the candidate in (and if you don't spell it correctly, it doesn't count).

>intelligence community, much less the courts, work.

The intelligence community has armies of lawyers hunting for every nuance, crevice, crack, or loophole in both the laws of the nation and every legal precedent set by the courts since the founding of the nation so that they can exercise as much control and authority as the powers that be will allow them to possess. Of course, one might says that the powers that be will place restraints on the leeway given to these agencies.... except that the powers that be are in bed with these agencies. This means that the only restraints on the powers of the government are a centuries old document that is moldering and falling apart in some Smithsonian vault right now, which the powers that be are using the courts to render null as we speak.

There is no altruism when it comes to power. Those who do not have power seek it, and those who have power always seek more of it.

Where there is potential for abuse in government, there will be abuse. This is how governments work. They all conspire to centralize power, authority and resources, ALWAYS AND WITHOUT EXCEPTION.
>>
>>79458220
No arguments from me. Hillary Clinton got careless, thinking she was untouchable. The fact that this shit storm is (mostly) quietly brewing just beneath the public radar that it the major news outlets only heightens her arrogance.

If she was smart, she would have gone to Obama, and gotten herself pardoned for the crimes she's committed (which requires her to admit guilty to those crimes), disqualifying her from ever holding public office again, but allowing her to live out the rest of her life quietly.

Instead, she's chosen not to do that, and is holding Obama to his word that he would endorse her once his presidency came to a close, which is just setting up a huge fucking time bomb for the Democratic Presidential run. If she can't run out the clock on this one, and become president before being found guilty, the Democrats are fucked out of the presidency for 4 years.

Depends on the state. In Flawduh you can register as a write-in candidate. Voters can write in whatever the fuck they want, but if the name isn't that of a registered candidate it doesn't count. As for spelling, as long as the Canvassing Board can agree to voter's intent, (and the candidate is a valid candidate) it would count.

Why in the world would Zero appoint a stand up guy who had a hard on for the Klintons to be the Top Cop????

Add this to the fact that his name will likely not appear on the ballot, and that the people never got to vote him in as the nominee, and you can bet that the number of Democrat votes will be the lowest they've ever been. You'll pretty much only get the Democrats that are Never Trump. The uninformed won't know, and the people who feel robbed of their democracy will vote for someone else.

What are you talking about, that is the plan.

Obama does not have to worry about reelection, so he is still going to pardon her. However, he knows that he cannot simply drop the ball in the investigation overall, because there would be outrage. So he walks that dog down the street a little ways to give the appearance of legitimacy. Then, when everything is brought to a head, charges may or may not be brought, but the pardon will be dangled there and the DOJ will decide not to prosecute.

Either way, she will either be charged and pardoned, or they will decide not to prosecute based on the "prosecutorial discretion" precedent in light of the threatened pardon.

That would require her to either admit guilt before a court, or to be found guilty before a court. Either of which would likely have the Supreme Court disqualify her from the Presidency.

You'll see I also mentioned just the possible threat of a pardon.

That is all that is necessary to put an end to this.

In order to pardon, you have to be found guilty, or admit guilt.

There's no reason to pardon the innocent, after all.

There might have been no way — in lots of peoples's eyes — that Clinton could be fully exonerated on the email controversy even before this Bill-Lynch meeting. But, if there ever was that chance, it's gone now. It's like playing a basketball game in which you felt like the refs gave your team a hard time and then finding out that the other coach had dinner with them the night before the game. It's possible, of course, that nothing was even mentioned about the impending game; they might all just have been in the same restaurant and sat together for a drink or whatever. But no one would ever be able to convince you that there wasn't something nefarious going on at that dinner. And, it just plain looks bad.

Increasingly, the Clintons' defense on the email story is summed up in two words: "Trust us."

Trust Hillary Clinton that the thousands of emails she decided to delete as totally personal were totally personal and didn't mention work at all — despite the fact that a State Department email release earlier this week fundamentally undermines that argument.
This whole mess created by Lynch and Bill Clinton will only make those numbers worse, further exposing Hillary Clinton's biggest weakness in the eyes of voters. And she has her husband to "thank" for it.

No, you aren't hearing me. The threat of a pardon is as effective as the issuance of a pardon.

The president doesn't actually have to write up and sign the pardon. He merely needs to inform the DOJ that any conviction will be immediately pardoned. So, in response, the DOJ just decides to use "prosecutorial discretion" to close the case and not prosecute at all, since such prosecution would be wasted in light of the eventual guaranteed issuance of said pardon.

>Not if he becomes the nominee after the registration deadline.

Ballot access is by party (or by write-in, but that's a different kettle of fish). Most states require parties to submit their candidates three months ahead of the general election, so the Dems would have to hand it to Joe sometime before August 8.
>>
WHAT DIFFERENCE AT THIS POINT DOES IT MAKE? IT WAS THE FAULT OF THE VIDEO.
>>
>>79459849
Forgive me, I misunderstood.

I find it hard to believe that they would drop it under threat of a pardon. It would be one thing if she was dropping out of politics, but considering she's running for the highest office in the nation, the simple stain of being pardoned would be enough to end her political career, keeping her from continuing to abuse the public.
>>
>>79459849
There's damage to be done with even a symbolic conviction. They'll pursue it. Having needed a pardon at all will damage her reputation.
>>
>>79459849
FBI would just say there is reason enough to indict and go to trial.

if the DoJ refuses to prosecute simply because they don't want to, or because obama says not to bother since he'll pardon her anyway, the damage is done.

the FBI cares about securing it's future. as an institution, as a budget item, and in the form of their own jobs in 2017.

Obama won't sacrifice his LEGACYâ„¢ to save clinton from jail if she'll lose the election regardless. he might take the hit if he thought doing so would get hillary in the white house and secure or advance his agenda.
>>
>>79459849

>So, in response, the DOJ just decides to use "prosecutorial discretion" to close the case and not prosecute at all, since such prosecution would be wasted in light of the eventual guaranteed issuance of said pardon.

That would cause a shitfit of Biblical proportions. Why would Obama take the heat for Hilary?

Because no matter what the media will spin everything in Clintons favor and try to downplay just how serious everything is, which could convince enough people to still vote for her in addition to all the people voting for gibs and dont care otherwise as long as they get their welfare check. Obamas got a better chance securing his legacy by pardoning a criminal shielded by the media than letting her fall and risking the Democrats ripping themselves apart during the election

Very interesting read. The only question is has Hillary made enough enemies (who are still alive), so that the tank is stocked with sharks to smell her blood... Or did she kill enough enemies along the way that she has the Justice Department under her thumb, and no one that matters can challenge her?

Clearly the evidence is there, but the country is so fractured right now that it wouldn't change the minds of her supporters, and all the Trump people would hang her regardless. I have no idea what to expect this year, but I'm buy food/water/ammo every paycheck.
>>
>>79458840
The thing that makes me question that is Obama actually seems invested in defeating Trump. He is at least invested in his own legacy. So if he actually did appoint Comey as an attack dog, he is 1) trying to destroy the Clintons and to hell with defeating Trump/maintaining """"progress"""" or 2) trying to get Trump elected so that if the country collapses or when the history books are written he looks like a saint.

Your take?

Not sure. Obama's legacy has been to fire competent people, protect the incompetent/corrupt (looking at the IRS), persecute whistleblowers, and to break the taboo of speaking about presidential possibilities in a negative light when not campaigning themselves (Bush, for all his faults, never stated Obama wasn't qualified, nor did Bill Clinton say this of Bush, for example).

His legacy has been full of unfulfilled promises, like the closing of GITMO and blatant corruption under his watch. It could very well be that he wants to end his reign on a good note, hoping that's what people will remember about him (standing up to the corrupt practices of Hillary).

I'm sure he wants to be remembered as the best president of all time, but his policies were extremely divisive, his cohorts corrupt, and the only thing worth remembering about him (Obamacare) hasn't worked well.

I'm sure there are worse presidents, but I just can't think of them.

Copypasta from NYT article...

>The F.B.I. is investigating whether Mrs. Clinton, her aides or anyone else broke the law by setting up a private email server for her to use as secretary of state. Internal investigators have concluded that the server was used to send classified information. For the Justice Department, the central question is whether the conduct met the legal standard for the crime of mishandling classified information.

>The F.B.I. is expected to make a recommendation to the Justice Department in the coming weeks, though agents have yet to interview Mrs. Clinton. While some legal experts said they believed that criminal indictments in the case were unlikely, the investigation continues to cast a shadow over Mrs. Clinton’s presidential campaign.

So nothing has happened yet. The whole article is here if you want to learn a bit more...

>>
>>79464151

It will if the FBI throws her under the bus - which they should. She mentioned the names of undercover CIA operatives using a shit email account - she should be fucking hung.

That meeting between Lynch and Bill on the private plane - that's the most fucked up thing ever. I truly believe he was negotiating with Lynch. If the shit about Bill and pedo, Jeffrey Epstein, is kept quiet, Bill will spill the beans on Hillary. Something like THAT would freak out everybody.

Can't wait 'til Monday.

That's for releasing the emails. What's happening Monday (or soon thereafter) is a meeting between the Feds and Hillary.

After that meeting, prosecutors will determine whether to charge her or not.

I actually took this as a good sign - if there is any indictment on the way, they don't want the state's case laid out all at once. It's better that the targets of the investigation remain unaware of what the Feds have.

I think this scandal will sink Hillary, with or without a trial.

Obama was complacent in the email scandal and the extra 30,000 emails show he was sending emails to Hillary. Bill met with Lynch to tell her that if they indict Hillary she's going to call Obama as a witness and he'll be in deep shit for complacency it's an entire constitutional crisis this is why nothing will happen.

She is out of control and she will be nominee because no one cares and for sure republicans don't care. Trey Gowdy didn't even dare call her a liar this week. How is this possible? Has everyone lost their damned minds?

Lynch was blindsided by Bill who muddied the case knowing she is a little dormouse who would meet with him, Bill knowing a special prosecutor will have to be called. This buys hilldog the time.

These traitorous republicans are the worse? Trump is easily the only decent candidate in many generations other than Perot and they backstab openly?
