Redraw Europe thread. Tried this the other night, but I made a few more concepts, so bear with me.
This remains my most likely prediction after the EU splits up and Russia jumps in.

Here's my latest composition. I figured that I would try a scenario where Russia has collapsed.
I think that this is the best and most realistic Europe overall. It also has the most independent states (grey). It's a shame that so many had to fall to the IS, but that just means that their eventual defeat will be grander.

Here's a bonus map that I just made after looking at distributions of oil resources in north america. Almost all of the oil is contained in the cartel states of america. There's also plenty of drugs. You then have the obvious breakaway liberal coalitions on the east and west.

States of Eire and UKEFNIE (United Kingdoms of England, Flanders, Northern Ireland, and Edinburgh) formed.
Scotland, France, Wallonia (now a part of France), Luxembourg, Spain, Italy, and now-autonomous Corsica and Sardinia remain in the EU. State of Portugal formed.
Germany annexes a few countries around it and forms the German (Deutch) Union after far-right victory in elections. Muslims are purged.
Southern EU countries like Greeece and Macedonia are cut off from main EU body and form the Southern EU. Peloponnese secedes and forms a Confederacy.
